Attila destroys the Ace of Spades for another sold out show on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour

November 30, 2014

The Monster Energy Outbreak Tour had their stop in Sacramento and we have been featuring the sets by  Sworn In and Like Moths to Flames and Crown The Empire. Now it is time for the spotlight to shine on Attila. Attila made their return to the Ace of Spades and absolutely destroy it again with a ferocious energy filled set. It was another sold out show on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour and the crowd definitely did not disappoint.  The second Attila hit the stage, you could just see a rush of crowd surfing bodies. The security definitely had their work cut out for them as they insured everyone that wanted to get up front, safely made it and had a kick ass time as well. Whether you were there for Attila or the other bands, there is no disputing one simple fact; Fronz is an amazing and captivating front man. He is there to insure that every single member of that packed audience is having the time of their life. That is not to say that his band doesn’t [Read More]

Crown The Empire returns to Sacramento for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour

November 29, 2014

As we continue with our coverage of last night’s Monster Energy Outbreak Tour stop in Sacramento, I hope you checked out our articles on  Sworn In and Like Moths to Flames. Next up for the night was one of our favorite bands, Crown The Empire. This was the fourth time seeing them this year and they once again delivered a spot on set. They have had quite a busy year with non stop touring and the great success of their latest album release, The Resistance: Rise of the Runaways. It appears with the energy they bring to the stage, there is no slowing down in sight for these guys. They are dedicated to always delivering 150% to each and every show. They definitely had a strong fan presence in the crowd as you could tell by everyone singing along to each song. They played crowd favorites like Rise of the Runaways, Machines, Bloodline and even finished it off with an amazing performance of The Fallout. They completely rocked the venue and you couldn’t help but be in awe [Read More]

Like Moths to Flames ignite the crowd at Ace of Spades on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour

November 29, 2014

Like Moths to Flames is one band that I have been waiting to catch live and last night, they lived up to and exceeded every expectation I had. These guys have such intense passion that shines right through their hardcore music. You can’t stand still as their energy charges the venue and ignites the crowd into a mosh/circle pit frenzy amid the continuous crowd surfing fans. The Monster Energy Outbreak made a well deserved stop in Sacramento at the Ace of Spades and it was a night full of kick ass music. What was really special about the night was that each band had a great turnout of dedicated fans and you could definitely see that Like Moths to Flames had a really strong fanbase. It seemed that everywhere I turned, I could see fans proudly wearing their  LMTF shirts and merch. It is great to see the fans continuing to support their favorite bands and for getting out to a live show. It was a packed house and another sold out show. Check out [Read More]

Sworn In delivers a KICK ASS set on the Monster Energy Outbreak Rock Tour

November 29, 2014

We were glad we braved the 4 hour traffic filled trek to Sacramento last night to catch the Monster Energy Outbreak Rock Tour. After sitting in traffic for so long, it was great to arrive at the Ace of Spades for a night of heavy music to release all that pent up frustration! The night started right off with a fierce set by Sworn In from Chicago. Holy shit, these guys blew us away! This was the first time I heard of Sworn In and after just a few minutes of hitting the stage, I was converted from a newbie to an absolute die-hard lover. I am bummed that it has taken me so long to find out about this band, but I am now grateful. They have a ferociously heavy sound that brought the crowd to peak levels within minutes of starting.  I am not going to do them the injustice of trying to describe them as a certain genre or sub-genre, they are just pure energy heavy rock with metal influences that you [Read More]

They are premiering their new song, My Kinda Woman which is off their upcoming album. Rio comments on the song, “I like to think of ‘My Kinda Woman’ as a masculine love song. New project, Apollo Under Fire from members of Candlebox and Eye Empire set to release album in 2015

November 26, 2014

I have some exciting news to share. Apollo Under Fire is the new acoustic project from Peter Klett of Candlebox, Donald Carpenter of Eye Empire & Submersed and Tom Constanza. They have announced they will be releasing their new album in Spring of 2015.  Apollo Under Fire have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on the album after recording at the Lala Mansion Recording Studio. To get you excited, check out the following trailer for Wings from the new album: I am really looking forward to the new album and how Apollo Under Fire truly captures raw emotion in their music and transfers it to the listener as a comforting blanket of reassurance and hope. It is welcoming to hear fresh new music that actually makes you “feel something” and is not just background noise. Beautifully amazing work and I can’t wait to hear more. They are planning on some acoustic shows so make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news. We will see [Read More]
