Circa Survive release live footage music video for Child of the Desert

  Circa Survive have released a live footage music video for their song, Child of the Desert. The footage was all shot at their sold out show at the Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA back in December.  The song features the captivating vocals of Anthony Green as he takes you on an almost trance lack peacefull bliss and then delivers a one two punch of energy at the end. I love this track. Today our BottleRock Napa Featured Band is Capital Cities. What began as a two jingle writers who met online through Craigslist quickly grew into the must hear sound of Capital Cities. Sebu Simonian and Ryan Merchant have created a bubbly pop sound that once you hear, will become settled into your mind as it makes a home in your every thought, brightening your day. Adopt the Arts Benefit Concert delivers a stellar performance by legendary artists at The Roxy

  Adopt the Arts held their benefit concert which honored Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) and Butch Trucks (Allman Brothers Band) for their contribution to American art and culture.  The live benefit concert delivered a stellar performance which included a list of legendary artists.  Co-founder musician Matt Sorum (Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver) was not only the host of the night but he stayed up on stage and jammed for several songs of the night.  The honorees, Billy Gibbons and Butch Trucks both received an award for their dedication and contribution to American arts.  After each received their award, they stayed up on stage and performed with a group of more legendary musicians including, SLASH, DUFF McKAGAN (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), BILLY DUFFY, RICHIE SAMBORA (Bon Jovi), STEVE LUKATHER (Toto), ORIANTHI,  EDGAR WINTER, JIMMY VIVINO (Conan O’Brien) vocalist FRANKIE PEREZ, and many more special guests including THE DISREPUTABLE FEW, a group of surprise killer musicians, will serve as the backing band for the night. Katrina announces North American tour as hit Walking on Sunshine hits 30 year anniversary!

  I often ask artists in my interviews about what song from the 80’s do they consider as their theme song and  you can only imagine the responses I have received. Everything from Motley Crue to Kim Carnes but when they turn the tables and ask me about mine, there has always been one song that truly defines me and my theme song. That song is Walking on Sunshine by Katrina & The Waves. That is without a doubt… my song!  Can you believe 2015 marks the 30th anniversary of that awesome hit?
