CIMINO head back in the studio and get their new song by sending them to Rockfest 2015

April 30, 2015

One of our favorite bands, CIMINO have headed back in to the studio to record new music. We are so excited and can’t wait for what is in store with this hard working non stop rockin band. Here is the latest from CIMINO: As of April 2nd, 2015 CIMINO have entered the studio and began tracking for their next release. Conceptually, the band has taken a completely different approach overall in the writing, recording and engineering process. The group concurs that the project is completely unlike anything they’ve done thus far. “It’s still Rock and Roll, we’re still playing the same instruments, and our sound is still unique and identifiable to previous releases, but that’s about it,” says CIMINO. The influences for this record are a little bit more Rolling Stones, a little bit less Shinedown, and it really does show. We’re recording them in the fashion that they were intended when written. In regard to what we’ve recorded so far, there is absolutely no click track, drum triggers, and auto tune, we’re keeping the computer [Read More]

Swedish rockers Casablanca have released lyric video for their new song, My Shadow Out of Time

April 30, 2015

Swedish retro rockers Casablanca have just released a lyric video for their new song, My Shadow Out Of Time which is off their upcoming album, Miskatonic Graffiti. The album was produced and recorded in the summer of 2014 in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden by Anders Ljung, Mats Rubarth, Erik Almström and Josephine Forsman, together with sound engineer Jon Bordon. It is a concept album broken into three sections, and based on the stories and events that take place in the small fictional town called “The Mountains.” The band describes the concept as if “Ziggy Stardust met H. P. Lovecraft in Twin Peaks.” The album is set to release this summer on Despotz Records. Check out the lyric video here: The song along with it’s epic vocals and swirling guitars will have you begging for more. Time to crank it up loud and drift away into a rock and roll trance.  In regards to the new song, the band comments: “First single from the Casablanca concept album Miskatonic Graffiti, ‘My Shadow out of Time’ is about memories of loss [Read More]

Witch Of The Waste release video for their song, It Was Always 3 A.M.

April 30, 2015

Witch Of The Waste release new music video for their song, It Was Always 3 A.M. which is off their recently released EP; Made of Teeth. Vocalist Ryan Fitzgerald comments, “This is the first of a series of videos we are creating. All will be directed by our good friend Christopher Lennox and will feature simple concepts and dark atmosphere. Think of them as bad jokes being told at inappropriate times.” The song is a quick fierce aggressive punch of metal that definitely is intense and does not conform to traditional or even modern metal realms. They have created their own raw intensity that will draw you in. Check out the video here: You can pick up a FREE Download of the EP by heading over to their bandcamp page here: http://witchofthewaste.bandcamp.com/. Or even better buy the Vinyl!
