Our Spotlight Band is CREEPER and check out their new video!

January 28, 2016

For our spotlight band I would like to feature goth punks CREEPER as they are set to release their new EP The Stranger on February 19th. They were recently added to Radio 1’s In New Music We Trust List yesterday, they build towards its release by unveiling the video for ‘Black Mass’. Vocalist Will Gould comments about the video: “The concept behind the video is a dream that our EP’s cover character named Madeline is experiencing. She’s in the middle of an episode of sleep psychosis with the band performing to her in her dream. She awakes to find herself in her bedroom. The song’s lyrics are written from the perspective of the character of The Stranger, the heartbroken monster who is the EP’s namesake. They’re partly inspired by recounts of sleep paralysis, where sufferers describe seeing a ‘black matter’ or ‘black mass’ haunting them in their rooms at night, while they lie paralysed in bed.” Check out their video for their bad ass new track,  Black Mass:  I love the fresh new sound that CREEPER brings out but [Read More]

Concert Review of Parkway Drive, Architects, Thy Art is Murder in Munich by Alex Bock

January 28, 2016

Parkway Drive, Architects, Thy Art Is Murder Zenith, Munich, Jan. 23rd, 2016   So Parkway Drive payed Munich a visit last weekend. It was the 2nd date on their tour through Germany promoting their latest record ‘Ire’. They brought two bands along. The opener of the show was Thy Art Is Murder from Sydney, Australia. Their vocalist CJ McMahon left the band only a few weeks ago. He is replaced by Nick Arthur (Molotov Solution) for now. Searching through the web, there’s already talk about a new vocalist, but nothing is officially confirmed yet. Compared to the other two bands, they were the heaviest that night. Second band that night were Architects from the UK. Almost throughout the whole set the stage was drenched in blue light, sometimes there were stroboscope’s added to that. Light wise a bit of a dark set, for the camera as much as for the audience. Didn’t take long for Sam Carter to get the crowd going, encouraging circle pits and the infamous wall of death. Architects, that played a [Read More]

New video from Falling In Reverse for Chemical Prisoner

January 27, 2016

Check out the new video from Falling In Reverse for their song, Chemical Prisoner. This is one of my favorite songs off their recent album, Just Like You. It is a great video that captures the energy of the band. The video was filmed in Ronnie’s hometown of Las Vegas and features his father and his motorcycle club. I love the black and white video and it carries such an intensity that is quite fitting for this song. This just might be my favorite Falling In Reverse video of all time. I can’t wait for Falling In Reverse to get back out on the road. I need my fix of their high energy sets! OH WONDER debuts music video for Lose It

January 27, 2016

OH WONDER have just debuted their music video for their song, Lose It. Matching the song’s glimmering infectiousness, the innovative and surprising clip features five professional dancers quite literally “losing it” to the music. In order to truly capture the moment as it unfolded, the London duo—Anthony West and Josephine Vander Gucht—asked the dancers to audition by performing a choreographed routine of their own. They neglected to mention the “auditions” were actually being filmed for the final video. What ensues is unique, uplifting, and undeniable… Check out the video here: Right now, OH WONDER is touring the U.S. in support of their self-titled full-length debut album [Republic Records]. Upon announcing their first stateside dates, the entire tour sold out in under 30 minutes with numerous dates expanded to bigger venues.
