Pierce The Veil kick off The Made To Destroy Tour in SF

September 5, 2016

Pierce The Veil kicked off The Made To Destroy Tour this past weekend in San Francisco and it was amazing! The tour presented by Journeys started in SF at The Warfield Theater with a sold out show. The lines began early in the afternoon as everyone made sure to be in attendance for this high energy tour. The night started with I Prevail and they definitely unleashed full force of adrenaline onto the anxious crowd. Neck Deep came up and a dose of pop punk was served up and the crowd surfing began. The crowd began chanting Pierce The Veil as the anticipation grew to their arrival on the stage. They delivered an incredible intro which featured a video screen depicting the arrival or should I say landing of Pierce The Veil. I am not one to spill all the details since I want to encourage you all to get out to this tour and see for yourself. It was a grand “out of this world” entrance and the crowd went wild. The band put [Read More]

William Control releases new song and video. By Alex Bock

September 5, 2016

Just in time for the start of the ‘Snyths and Sinners’ tour through the UK, William Control released a new song/video called ‘The Monster’. For now it’s a Youtube exclusive. Reason for this is that Control Records signed a distribution deal with Artery/Sony/Red, which is a pretty big deal as it’s giving the band the chance to get their music out to more people than they could do on their own. ‘The Monster’ is the first single of the ‘The Pale E.P.’ The upcoming record is called ‘Revelations’ and will be split into four E.P.’s – Pale, Black, Red and White. The Pale E.P. will be released in mid October. For now, make sure to check out the video Also don’t miss out on catching William Control and the Neuromantic Boys live on their current tour through the UK Go follow William Control on his social media www.facebook.com/williamcontrolofficial http://www.williamcontrol.com http://twitter.com/williamcontrol http://williamcontrol.bigcartel.com www.controlmerch.com Snapchat williamcontrol ~ Contributed by Alex Bock, https://twitter.com/abphotomjp

Dessy DiLauro and Parlor Social: best live club performance in LA or possibly the nation.

September 4, 2016

In a world where both audiences and musicians think nothing of showing up at a club in ragged cutoffs and old t-shirts (I actually saw a major British pop singer introduce herself for the first time to La audiences wearing exactly that)  it was refreshing and exciting to experience Dessy DiLauro and her Parlor Social concert at Sayers Club Thursday night.  With an attention to detail in both music and style and an unwavering demand for quality, she and her team of band members, guest performers and dancers put on what is undeniably the best live performance in the Los Angeles club scene, if not the nation’s. The performance at the Sayers Club was a perfect example of how good they are, and  how unique.  It was a short set, only five  songs.  But in those five songs they got a packed elbow-to-elbow crowd on its feet cheering and singing as if it were an arena concert by a global star. I have seen Parlor Social three times and each time my response alternates [Read More]
