SUM 41 brought their “Don’t Call it a Sum-Back Tour” to sold out crowd at the Regency Ballroom in SF

  Last month, SUM 41 captured everyone’s attention with the release of their new album, 13 Voices. The album has garnered high praise as they continue to crank out kick ass music, successfully blending punk, rock, pop, all wrapped in a vibrant fun energy.  There is no stopping their longtime success as the new album brings a whole new generation of fans, all the while satisfying long time fans. They currently made a stop in San Francisco for their “Don’t Call It A Sum-Back Tour” and they took over The Regency Ballroom. The tour includes support by Senses Fail and As It Is.  Sum 41 hit the stage to a sold out venue and the nostalgia filled the room as long time fans and many new ones, sang every word to the songs.   For Day 76 on our NAMM Countdown, Sennheiser and Neumann nominated for prestigious NAMM TEC Awards Audio specialist Sennheiser and Neumann.Berlin have received Outstanding Technical Achievement nominations across three different categories in the 32nd Annual NAMM TEC awards. Sennheiser was nominated for its Wireless System Remote (WSR) application, the HD 25 PLUS professional headphones and the new evolution wireless G3 systems in the A1 band for the USA and Canada, while Neumann was nominated for its ‘Neumann in the Home Studio’ educational microsite.Presented by the NAMM Foundation, the NAMM TEC Awards are the pro audio industry’s most prestigious accolades, honoring outstanding achievement in product innovation and sound production. Senses Fail have been tearing up stages out on the Sum 41 “Don’t Call It a Sum Back Tour”. Last night, they delivered a fiercely entertaining set at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. I tell you these guys are definitely eating their Wheaties and Spinach because they were fueled with non-stop adrenaline. Vocalist Buddy was a madman on the stage and is absolutely entertaining with his jumps, flips, splits, cartwheels, spins, and so much more. His energy is infectious and the crowd went wild from start to finish. Interview with As It Is as they bring their fun pop punk set to Regency Ballroom, San Francisco

Last night As It Is kicked off the SUM 41 “Don’t Call It a Sum Back Tour” at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. The sold out venue was filling up just as they hit the stage. They got the crowd ready for a night of high energy and endless adrenaline.  As It Is treated the fans to a couple  of their new songs which are off okay., their upcoming new album which is set for a January 20th, 2017. It was great to see so many of the fans singing along to Pretty Little Distance and Okay. The band continued to receive a welcome reception from the fans, many who said they were seeing them play for the first time. Ashba joins many musicians who proudly play Dean Markley strings.  The Dj Ashba Artist Series is a custom set of gauges that feature .010, .013, .017, .028, .038, and .048 from the longtime favorite, Dean Markley Signature Series of nickel plated strings. Dj Ashba is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and graphic designer. He grew up in Fairbury, Illinois, where he worked in the cornfields to earn enough money to buy his first guitar. Influenced by Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen, he practiced tirelessly, sometimes 17 hours a day. The Wild Reeds kick off West Coast Tour with first stop in San Francisco at the Chapel, Nov. 3rd

The Wild Reeds have signed on with Dualtone Records and have a plan for a new full length LP in 2017.   The band is currently at work with producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Local Natives) at Tarquin Studios in Connecticut, whose other recent studio clients include Kurt Vile, San Fermin, and The Lone Bellow. This talented band from Los Angeles, features music that centers around the vocal harmonies of three front-women, who also trade off lead vocals and instruments throughout the set. They are just about to kick off a West Coast Tour this week. First stop is in San Francisco at The Chapel on Thursday, November 3rd. PALAYE ROYALE release Corpse Bride video for their song, Ma Chérie (ft. Kellin Quinn)

  Palaye Royale have been busy out on tour with Metro Station but that has not stopped them from releasing video of  Ma Chérie (ft. Kellin Quinn). The video created by Rian McLenithan features Tim Burton’s stop-motion animated fantasy film, Corpse Bride. I love the song and the video is the perfect compliment to it.
