April 7, 2017

Time for you to check out the new single from Los Angeles based alt-pop songwriter Adaline. This is the first track from her upcoming album, Aquatic which is due out on June 2nd. Adaline comments on the new track, “I don’t need another person to merely entertain me romantically,” explains Adaline. “I’m looking for a little bravery. I find it a common sentiment in my generation: we’re looking for something just a little more profound.” Adaline Check out the new song here:   You can  pre-order the new album Aquatic on iTunes and Amazon. About her album, This June, Adaline returns with a new collection of songs aptly entitled Aquatic. Conceptualized on the ocean, it lyrically serves as a metaphoric baptism – that of starting over. Aquatic is a journey through the darker side of love. It speaks to the unending search for real connections in a world where such a notion is riddled with cruel falsehoods and misplaced expectations. SPOTLIGHT BAND: Old James is delivering a much needed dose of ROCK with their new video for Words as Weapons

April 5, 2017

We bring the spotlight on a kick ass band that we saw in San Francisco a couple years back opening for Girlschool. We are excited to hear that they are still killing it with their straight up rock dipped in metal. The band is the Canadian power trio Old James. They are soon to release their debut album, Speak Volumes and they have just released a video for their new track, Words as Weapons.  The song delivers us a heaping much needed dose of Rock with powerful riffs, the perfect balance of gritty and smooth vocals, strong melody, smoking guitar solo and killer drums.  They capture the raw intensity of old school rock n roll, yet bring an in-your-face modern intensity that has them capturing both the metal and rock scene. Check out the video here: Band Members: Brian Stephenson (Lead Vocals/Bass Guitar) Andy Thompson (Lead Guitar) Chris Stephenson (Drums/Backing Vocals) Get ready for their new music and make sure to share the video with your friends. Hail The Sun announces new US Headline tour with Capsize and releases cinematic video

April 5, 2017

Hail the Sun have announced a new US Headline tour with direct support from Capsize. They have also just released a cinematic new video for their track Doing the Same Thing and Expecting Different Results.  The video was filmed and directed by Michael-Rex Carbonell. The song comes from Hail The Sun‘s latest full-length, Culture Scars, which is out now on Equal Vision Records. Check out the video below: Vocalist/Drummer Donovan Melero comments about the video, “We wanted this video to have the same vibe as the album art of Culture Scars, and since Michael-Rex had done the cover for us, it made sense that he put that same touch to the video for this song. “The video itself is an embellishment of how I see my late teens and early to mid 20s. I think I was very hard to trust, for several reasons. Having multiple characters in the video isn’t necessarily a literal adaptation, but rather symbolic for the many instances I would be less than upfront with loved ones. Prog Rockers Edensong brings to life the depth of a day with their captivating new video

April 5, 2017

New York’s progressive rockers Edensong have captured our attention with their newly released video for In The Longest of Days. The song is off Years In The Garden Of Years album.  Expanding on the video, the band’s James Schoen delves, “‘In The Longest Of Days’ is really the song that inspired the concept behind the album Years In The Garden Of Years. It was the first song I wrote from scratch for EDENSONG since the Fruit Fallen days and it remains one of my favorites, and one that flowed really easily for me. Conceptually, the song depicts a lifetime in the span of a single day; All our desires, aspirations, and struggles distilled into a solitary rotation of the earth on its axis.   True to the concept, we filmed the video in the span of a single day, up in rural Vermont, where I felt the epic landscape could really complement the feel of the music. Once again, we teamed up with our good friend filmmaker Nick Fiore, and worked with an incredible local dancer Hanna Satterlee. [Read More]
