Check out the new single from All Time Low and catch them out on Summer headline tour!

June 1, 2017

All Time Low have released a new single from their anticipated new LP LAST YOUNG RENEGADE.  The track is called Good Times and you can take a listen here and watch their new lyric video: Frontman Alex Gaskarth commented on “Good Times” stating, “Good Times is the first song we wrote for the album, and the cornerstone of the entire record. Writing this song set us on a path that would lead to this world of night drives, rain slicked streets, and the neon hum of a small town fit for escaping. Without ‘Good Times’, the LAST YOUNG RENEGADE wouldn’t exist. I’m thankful to have found this song in the creative ether, and doubly so for the reflections in the lyrics that inspired this big adventure. I won’t forget.” You can pick up the new album LAST YOUNG RENEGADE  this Friday, June 2nd. 1. Last Young Renegade 2. Drugs & Candy 3. Dirty Laundry 4. Good Times 5. Nice2KnoU 6. Life Of The Party 7. Only days after their kick ass set at BottleRock, Foo Fighters release new single and video for “Run”

June 1, 2017

Foo Fighters delivered a killer set at BottleRock 2017 this past weekend. The crowd had camped out early on the grass all day long, to get a prime spot for the final band on the JaM Cellars Stage.  It was great for us to finally watch them perform since the last time we had quite an experience at Salesforce Dreamfest in 2015. Our photographer suffered several injuries and a busted camera after what was definitely a Corporate Riot!  But fast forward to Sunday night and the excellent security and planning of BottleRock, there were no signs of any injuries or crowd control issues. The wowed the crowd and even hinted that they might have a full album already recorded. Check out the photos from their set: We are anxiously waiting for a new album and today we were treated to a new single and video for their track, Run. The video was directed by Dave Grohl and has the band disguised as old men. The track is a bad ass song that really brings [Read More]

Time to free yourself with the new dreamy single, Cocoon by Livingmore

June 1, 2017

Los Angeles indie duo Livingmore are ready to set you free with their new single, Cocoon. The track is off their new album and brings a dreamy eclectic blend of alternative, indie pop and folk rock to life. It will capture your attention and have you wanting more. Check out the new track here:   Livingmore is comprised of songwriters Alex Moore and Spencer Livingston. Cocoon is the first track of their new album and the next chapter of their music. Livingston explains the band’s songwriting process: “We never really plan when we’re going to write, we just wait for it to happen,” Livingston notes, while explaining the band’s songwriting process. Each song has a totally organic approach – sometimes born from Livingston playing a melody and Moore composing accompanying lyrics on the spot; other times with both of them writing songs separately and meeting in the middle. “We can be reborn in all kinds of different ways, where now we feel like butterflies again. We’ve regained confidence in ourselves and are ready to move to [Read More]

Baroness introduce new guitar player as they thank Pete Adams for all his great work with the band

June 1, 2017

Baroness is one of my favorite bands and they are introducing a new guitar player. Their longtime incredible guitar player Pete Adams has amicably let the band to focus on a burgeoning non-music business and his home life.  Pete comments, “I would like to say thanks to all of the Baroness fans far and wide and all of the support through the ups and downs along the way,” says Pete. “I feel beyond fortunate to have had the chance to travel great distances with Baroness and to meet so many of you. I honestly never thought I would be able to do what I have done with Baroness. Playing alongside my oldest friends, playing music that isn’t simply readily accepted by the masses, and sharing the stage with some of the best musicians and bands from around the globe. That said, it’s time for me to focus my energy closer to home and not on the road. However, this isn’t the end of my musical career by any means as I plan to continue working [Read More]

CONCERT REVIEW: U2 at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl. Written by Jessica Klausing

June 1, 2017

Twitter @OTFlipsideMusic A U2 fan told me she stood over 12 hours in line in the 97 degree heat to see the iconic Irishmen this past Sunday. She was not alone. Thousands of other die-hard fans braved heat exhaustion outside Pasadena’s Rose Bowl Stadium just to ensure a good spot in the general admission pit. Performing their inspiring lyrics and soaring guitar anthems with vitality, U2 makes it evident during their concerts why they have such a loyal fan base. U2—comprised of vocalist Bono, guitarist and keyboardist The Edge, bassist Adam Clayton, and drummer Larry Mullen Jr. –came out to play a mind blowing two-hour set in honor of their groundbreaking 1987 album, The Joshua Tree.   The Joshua Tree ponders the core values of the American dream. These tracks reflect drug addiction, war, death, and discrimination. These powerful themes are every bit as relevant now as they were in the 80s. The band took the B-stage for the opener, “Sunday Bloody Sunday” off the 1983 album, War. Next, The Edge riffed right into the [Read More]
