Casey return with new single “Great Grief”

December 6, 2022

Welsh post-hardcore-legends Casey return after a four year hiatus with their mind-blowing new single “Great Grief”, which is released via Hassle Records. Singer Tom Weaver on the song: “For the five of us it’s something special. It was the first piece of music we wrote collectively after deciding that we wanted to do this again, and it felt like an organic progression when it came together. Musically we wanted to maintain an anchor in the familiar, but challenge ourselves to produce a more mature and expansive sound. We put a lot of thought into the sound design, adding layers and harmonies – all things we’d not really put much effort into previously. But I’m in a much better place [Read More]

Photogallery: Silverstein, Comeback Kid, Senses Fail and Koyo

December 5, 2022

2022 is slowly coming to an end. Despite the big “C” it was a busy concert year. Everything is almost back to normal. During the long break many tours have been postponed or canceled, so this year the concert world had a lot of catching up to do. Silverstein have been to Munich during their 20 years-anniversary tour . Fast forward 2 1/2 years …Silverstein are back. This time they brought Koyo, Senses Fail and Comeback Kid with them. With four bands on the bill, the show started early at 7 pm. The venue wasn’t packed at the time, which as expected changed over the course of the night. Koyo and Senses Fail have done everything to make quite an impression that night. Senses Fail being quite popular in the US, are still not very well known around here yet, but I’m pretty sure that’s going to change, once they play here more often. Comeback Kid was kind of the “odd one out”. After all, they are a hardcore band, which musicwise stood out amongst [Read More]

Crown The Empire drop new single “Immortalize”

December 5, 2022

Genre-bending, modern post-metalcore quartet, Crown The Empire, have shared their brand new single, “Immortalize.” The new track is catapulted by 2022 touring highlights including the summer’s The Fallout 10 Year Anniversary Tour, one of the band’s most successful headline tours of their career, and the fall leg of Knotfest Roadshow, supporting Slipknot and Ice Nine Kills. “Immortalize”, produced and mixed by Zach Jones (Fever 333, Poorstacy, Scene Queen, Nova Twins), features the band’s signature sound of massive angular riffs, anthemic melodies, and sweeping electronic elements. “‘Immortalize’ is about the fear of being forgotten once we pass on. It questions mortality, the existence of a higher being, and struggles to find meaning in the inevitable,” says vocalist Andy Leo. “Time is the only currency that can’t be replaced and there’s no way of ensuring we’ll leave a legacy worth remembering. All we can do is try and make our marks before we’re gone forever.” Crown the Empire have steadily established themselves over the past decade as a force of nature in the rock world. They have [Read More]
