For the fourth time, the small Bavarian town of Rosenheim hosted the Tattoo Days at the Auerbräu Festhalle/Loretowiese, where just a few weeks ago they celebrated the annual Herbstfest (which is like a very small Oktoberfest, but more quiet and much more affordable).
Again, the organizers, Anne and Quan from the Hellgallery Tattoo Studios, managed to put together quite a program for two days.
We were able to join the event on Saturday. Aside from getting the chance to watch some amazing tattoo artists doing their work, there were several contests for different tattoo categories, the first two rounds of the Miss Tattoo contest, a comedian, and a mentalist. We also caught glimpses of some “tattoo nightmares”.
The wonderful Dirk Thunig led through both days, and he did a pretty amazing job.
The tattoo studios were from all over the place, just to name a few:
