Saint Mesa releases stellar new track Maderas, as you are whisked away to a tropical bliss

June 2, 2017

Less than a week after performing a magical set at BottleRock 2017, Saint Mesa have released their new track, Maderas. Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Danny McCook says he wrote the song when he was “in Nicaragua surrounded by monkeys, geckos, trees, and amazing friends.”  Which truly explains the mystical nature vibe that it exudes. Vocals are velvety smooth as they take you on a tropical journey of rich colors and warmth. It is the perfect “feel good” track for the summer. Check out the new track  here:   M aderas (Audio Only) by Saint Mesa on VEVO. or on Spotify here: https://open.spotify.com/album/0Cezp4sDrF59rTKfte94Ed We had the chance to chat briefly with Danny ahead of his set at BottleRock, check that interview out here: Saint Mesa kicked off the Samsung stage at BottleRock 2017 last Saturday. Michael Franti & Spearhead release music video for new single Summertime Is In Our Hands

June 1, 2017

MICHAEL FRANTI & SPEARHEAD–led by the socially and environmentally conscious singer, songwriter and guitarist–released a joyous, positive and uplifting video for “Summertime Is In Our Hands” over the Memorial Day Weekend.  Filmed in Bali and directed by Franti, the video brings to life a vibrant story about enjoying every moment with a heartening plot twist towards the end. Check out the video here: The song–off his most recent and ninth studio album, SOULROCKER (Fantasy Records)–carries very meaningful inspiration for Franti as it was written when his son was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease. As a result of the diagnosis, they grew closer, valuing their time. The feeling is “summer is whenever, the memories last,” says Franti. “Live your life to the fullest, even in the darkest hour.” A mini-documentary about the “Summertime Is In Our Hands” video and the “Do It For The Love“ organization–the wish-granting non-profit co-founded by Franti and his wife Sara that brings people living with life-threatening illnesses, children with severe challenges, and wounded veterans to live concerts–has also been released. Watch the moving mini-documentary here. Recently, [Read More]

Only days after their kick ass set at BottleRock, Foo Fighters release new single and video for “Run”

June 1, 2017

Foo Fighters delivered a killer set at BottleRock 2017 this past weekend. The crowd had camped out early on the grass all day long, to get a prime spot for the final band on the JaM Cellars Stage.  It was great for us to finally watch them perform since the last time we had quite an experience at Salesforce Dreamfest in 2015. Our photographer suffered several injuries and a busted camera after what was definitely a Corporate Riot!  But fast forward to Sunday night and the excellent security and planning of BottleRock, there were no signs of any injuries or crowd control issues. The wowed the crowd and even hinted that they might have a full album already recorded. Check out the photos from their set: We are anxiously waiting for a new album and today we were treated to a new single and video for their track, Run. The video was directed by Dave Grohl and has the band disguised as old men. The track is a bad ass song that really brings [Read More]

Bishop Briggs releases stellar new video for The Way I Do

May 5, 2017

Our favorite BottleRock Napa artist has just released a new video and we love it! Check out the new video for The Way I Do from Bishop Briggs: Bishop Briggs made a stop in San Francisco last week to perform a date from her first headlining tour at the legendary Fillmore. They performed last year at the iconic venue, opening for Kaleo and blew us away. They did it again, as this time they were there for their headlining show, and they truly gave 150% out on that stage! We had the chance to catch up with Bishop Briggs shortly before her set. You can check out our interview here: From the moment Bishop hit the stage, the crowd went wild with enthusiasm. It was pure bliss as the music washed away all our worries and concerns. Instead, filling us with energy, euphoria and serenity. As we talked with Bishop, her music is an elixir that will lift your spirits and catapult you into elation, intoxicating and addictive.  The crowd went wild singing along and [Read More]
