It is Mayhem Monday and our featured band is KORN!

June 9, 2014

We have less than a month until Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Today for our Mayhem Monday feature, we wanted to spotlight one of our favorite bands, Korn.  I am really looking forward to their set at the Festival. We saw them last year at Aftershock and they were the absolute highlight of the three day festival.  They have such an intense live performance that truly captivates you from start to finish. Their album, The Paradigm Shift had received instant acclaim since it was first released last October and continues to be one of the best Korn albums and the singles continue to rock the charts. You can pick up The Paradigm Shift on iTunes here. One of my favorite songs on the album is  Never, Never and you can check it out here with a tribute video featuring photos by Rockin Ryan:   Korn is: Jonathan Davis – Vocals James Shaffer – Guitar Brian Welch – Guitar Reginald Arvizu – Bass Ray Luzier – Drums So make sure to pick up your tickets for [Read More]

June 3, 2014

It has been quite a year so far for the young metal band, Unlocking the Truth. The band with young members of 12/13 years old have been taking the metal scene by surprise and everyone has been talking about them. They were the youngest band to ever perform at this year’s Coachella Festival. Not only that, but many considered them to be the highlight of the festival. The young band Unlocking The Truth are from Brooklyn, New York. At the young ages of twelve and thirteen these three kids are skilled musicians and have everyone taking notice of their exceptional talent. Unlocking The Truth are currently scheduled to open once again for Guns n Roses this weekend at their Las Vegas Hard Rock Residency. They are then scheduled for several more dates and festivals to include Heavy Montreal Festival on August 9th which will include headliners Slayer and Metallica. Amazing that such a young band is already achieving what other bands take years to conquer. One thing is for sure, Unlocking The Truth deliver explosive live [Read More]

The Highlight of the 2014 Bottle Rock Napa Festival was The Cure!

June 2, 2014

For the past three months we have been bringing to you our featured artists and bands for the 2014 Bottle Rock Napa Festival. The festival was a great success, very well organized, plenty of parking, shuttles, food vendors, water refilling and phone charging stations. We will continue to bring you our recap of this successful festival but first we wanted to bring you the Highlight of the 2014 Bottle Rock Napa Festival. I don’t think it comes as any surprise, that The Cure has been chosen as the highlight of this year’s festival. The Cure played on Friday night and after a long day of great bands, good food and lots of fun. They started promptly at 7:30 and treated us to a nonstop 2 1/2 hour set. When I mean nonstop, I mean literally nonstop. There were no show breaks, or small talk. They were there to perform and did everything to insure that we all heard our personal favorites as well as some songs that haven’t played live in years!  Due to the [Read More]
