Country Pop Singer Sam Paige releases emotionally driven track, People Pleaser

June 19, 2024

Country Pop Singer Sam Paige delivers an emotionally driven new track, People Pleaser. Her new single was co-written with Nashville’s Producer Alex Seier. Sam’s music is a direct reflection of her life and experiences. She comments about the track, “As I grow in my life and as an artist, it is important to me that I tackle things in my own life that I need to improve on and or at the very least acknowledge without shame.  It is my hope that others will hear this song and identify with my honest admission that I am a serial people pleaser. It’s never too late to change and through songwriting I find it very therapeutic to address my shortcomings. I do love pleasing people, however I am also learning to please myself.”  The infectious new track shows how people pleasers will change themselves to appease those around them, which of course brings about mental exhaustion. The song and music video “People Pleaser” is an absolute must watch and listen and gives us an inside view [Read More]

Hey Violet releases angsty new track, Uncomplicated for Valentine’s Day

February 14, 2024

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than cranking up the new track Uncomplicated from Hey Violet. The band released the angsty new track today. Rena Lovelis comments about the new song, “This song was a way to call out my own distorted thinking in relationships… a sort of reckoning for what I chase and why I chase it. I remember when I was 16 years old and I was dating someone who was just a total sweetheart, and I was bored out of my mind. It really had nothing to do with that person; it was the volatility that Nia and I grew up witnessing that then transgressed into my relationships later on.”   “Uncomplicated was initially written by us, our friend Robbie Hiser, and an artist friend for their project, but we ended up loving the song and asked if we could have it for this album. The lyrics really feel like a harsh spotlight on my thinking and we thought it was an important part of the album as a whole. It [Read More]

Following their latest single “Skeleton,” “Projector” further teases their upcoming album “Elsewhere”, which premieres on March 11th. “Elsewhere” promises to divulge an unseen vulnerability to Set It Off’s musicality, in addition to varied moods and worlds for listeners. With an in-your-face attitude, Set It Off is releasing all of their pent-up aggression off of their chests in “Projector.” Enough is enough, and instead of aiming your inner turmoil at others, the band simply emphasizes that people need to listen more and talk less. Discussing the inspiration of “Projector,” singer/lyricist Cody Carson describes “the amount of people that end up entering my life that are incapable of saying ‘I’m wrong,’ ‘I messed up,’ or ‘I’m sorry’ is baffling to me. Instead you’re met with finger pointing, excuses, and anger. They project their issues onto other people or even onto you just so they don’t have to face it themselves… I just want people to be able to [Read More]
