Kellin Quinn releases debut single for his solo project, HAUNTED MOUTHS

Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens has just released his debut single for his solo project HAUNTED MOUTHS. He will be releasing a full album titled A Collection of Greetings on February 14th via Rise Records. A release on Valentine’s Day is perfect since this album is truly a love letter, both figuratively and literally. Reading Julia Cameron’s 1992 self-help book, The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity, kickstarted a new approach in Kellin’s songwriting. This new record is a romantic love letter, literally and figuratively, and a celebration of life’s rich complexity. It’s a singular experience, with each song demanding a listen to the next. Another great band that was opening for The Voidz at their 4 SOLD OUT San Francisco shows, was Automatic. They brought a blend of post punk shoegaze to the stage and everyone was loving them. The Paranoyds hit San Francisco for 2 nights with The Voidz

This past week was crazy in San Francisco! The Voidz played 4 SOLD OUT nights at the Great American Music Hall and The Paranoyds were there opening for two nights. They were so incredible. They really got the crowd ready for a kick ass night of music. We were instantly hooked. Chicago solo artist Slack Armada releases his new EP of mystical instrumental music reminiscent of early shoegaze electronica. James Hrabak is the founder and creator of Slack Armada and did not only all the instruments but all the production of recording, mixing and mastering on this four song self titled EP. James literally brings the music to life without vocals and tells stories with each songs that float through your mind. James explains more about not using vocals, “The absence of vocals wasn’t a conscious decision at the beginning, As I was building up the tracks, I thought ‘Maybe I can make the music speak to somebody without the additional guide of a human voice.’ I wanted to let the listener be transported with fewer guideposts.” Well he truly succeeded in that manner and it is quite a journey that he takes you on.
