About the track “Right Back” reflects on a cycle Brandon has found himself in before—running toward something he knows will hurt because for a moment, it feels like home. “It explores the complexity of addictive love, and how love can be so blinding,” he says of the track. “Likening someone to cyanide, a poison, BUT still throwing yourself at them, thinking it’ll work out. It’s an intense, internal struggle. And no matter how hard you try not to, you keep running right back to them.” Check out the new song and video here:     Tracklist: 01 – You Look Like Love 02 – Right Back 03 – Serotonin 04 [Read More]

Indie Soul Pop Artist Selfdrou9ht releases new single and visualizer

October 23, 2020

Indie R&B/soul pop artist, Selfdrou9ht announces his new single and accompanying visualizar, “The Comedown.” Central songwriter James Fasulo states, “This is a song about being a placeholder for someone who needs their emotional needs met, and the feeling one has when looking at the situation retrospectively as you’re left behind when you are no longer useful to them.  This is an unfortunately universal experience these days: going from wishing you could have been kept to realizing the user is the one who is losing out. This  realization  is what sets the song tonally;  it’s about self-ownership and restoration of value. The song has tinges of 80’s synth pop with Human League style melody changes, but littered through out are moments reminiscent of *NSYNC, The Weeknd, bedroom pop, and EDM.” Watch the video     About the artist After 10 years of paying dues in the alternative rock/punk scenes and 16 years performing in musical theater, Fasulo finally felt the pull to create something new by himself. He has always felt a disconnect between his artistic self and [Read More]

I’ve had some of these songs with me for years, but I was always waiting for the right time to put them out. It’s scary, because this is my voice, my words, just me. It was cathartic to get out some of that anger and sadness, but there’s also the presence of faith that it will all get better.” [Read More]

Alternative soul rocker Joe Marson streams new song, Lost In The Sun

June 28, 2017

Alternative soul rocker Joe Marson has released his new track, Lost In The Sun. The song is off his forthcoming EP  This is Magic, which is set for release on August 18, 2017. Joe comments on the new track, “I wrote the song about my 6 year battle with crippling depression that I experienced in my teens into my mid 20’s. I was held back from going after my dreams of playing music and felt very distanced from my friends and family. I eventually could not take care of myself and was very close to ending my life before finding the right combination of things that literally brought me back from the dead; and made me stronger than I have ever been. I know the analogy of Phoenix rising from the ashes is an oft used one, but that is an accurate description of my experience.”  You can take a listen to the new track by heading over to Adobe & Teardrops. The track truly highlights the emotive vocals of Joe and you can’t help but feel the [Read More]
