American Hi-Fi release cover of Squeeze’s “Another Nail In My Heart”

Today, American Hi-Fi are releasing their cover of Squeeze’s 1980 single, “Another Nail in My Heart”. A loud and energetic take on the new-wave hit. “Another Nail in My Heart” is American Hi-Fi’s third cover release this summer, following recent reimaginings of Madness’ “Our House” and Joe Jackson’s “Steppin’ Out”. Frontman Stacy Jones shares: “’Another Nail in my Heart’ is a perfect example of the songcraft that makes Squeezeso beloved. How many other pop tunes go to a ripping guitar solo right after the first chorus?!?! As with the covers we’ve recently released, this is one of those tunes that I’ve sung in the shower ad nauseam, and now I hope people will crank up our version and do the same!”. American Hi-Fi release new video for Golden State from their forthcoming album

American Hi-Fi have been called pop, rock, pop punk, alternative and so many more genre titles. The fact remains they are simply a great band creating music that appeals to an audience with a variety of genre loves. That just shows how this band successfully created their own style of alternative rock/pop that is quite deserving of your attention. American Hi-Fi release new single from forthcoming album, Blood & Lemonade

American Hi-Fi have had quite a success with their infectious pop rock sound and they are returning with a new album, Blood & Lemonade which is set for a September 16th release via Rude Records.  When asked about the new album, Singer Stacy Jones says: “We can’t wait for people to hear Blood & Lemonade! It’s a return to a big guitar sound that is most reminiscent of our first album. I am so proud of the songs on this record. It looks like we have finally hit our stride in defining our sound.
