TOUR NEWS: Cage The Elephant announces dates for co-headlining tour with Beck!

  How do you get through your Mondays? Well with a tour announcement like this, it is the best way to kick off the work week! Cage The Elephant will be out on a co-headlining tour with Beck. Check out the news below: (February 11, 2019) Last week, Cage The Elephant announced their return with the release of their fifth studio album, Social Cues, on April 19th via RCA Records. Today, the band confirm a co-headlining tour with Beck, who is featured on the album track “Night Running.” The Night Running Tour will begin on July 9th and includes stops at The Gorge in George, WA, Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA, and NYC’s Forest Hill Stadium. Spoon has also been announced as a special guest on the tour and Starcrawler, Sunflower Bean and Wild Belle will open as well in select cities.Full dates below. Beck and The National set to headline First City Festival in Monterey!

Goldenvoice has announced the lineup and date for the return of the First City Festival which is celebrates indie music and underground artists. The two day festival is scheduled for August 23rd and 24th and will take place at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center. First City Festival is named after Monterey’s claim as the official “first capital” of California, which eventually became one of the country’s most desirable vacation destinations. Musically, the city is well-known for the historic Monterey Pop Festival, as well as the annual Monterey Jazz Festival. In its debut year, FIRST CITY FESTIVAL attracted more than 10,000 attendees each day that enjoyed a line-up of 30+ bands including Passion Pit, MGMT, Modest Mouse, Capital Cities, Father John Misty, Neko Case and many others.
