Interview with Days Under Authority as they rocked the Valley Fire Benefit Concert

October 8, 2015

As you may know, we put on a Valley Fire Benefit Concert at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma last month. It was a great night as the community came together with an amazing group of musicians and the benefit was a success raising over $2,100 which will benefit the victims of the Valley Fire. All 100% of proceeds from the event are donated to Moose Lodge in Clearlake and Middletown Animal Hospital. We were honored to have Chasta Freeman Michaelis of 107.7 The Bone emcee our event. The night kicked off with the high energy set by Days Under Authority who drove up from Fresno. They hit the stage bursting with adrenaline and the crowd loved them. Valley Fire Benefit Concert ROCKS the Phoenix Theater

September 30, 2015

This past Saturday night we held our Valley Fire Benefit Concert at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma. It was hard to believe that the event was planned, organized and put on within two weeks of the Valley Fire devastation.  The community came together with an amazing group of musicians and the benefit was a success. even though we came across some setbacks such as our sound guy being laid up in the hospital, we had six great bands that put on stellar performances and rocked the venue. We were so honored to have Chasta Freeman Michaelis of 107.7 The Bone emcee our event. She got the crowd not only pumped up, but encouraged them to empty their pockets for this great cause.  At last report, we have successfully raised $2,100 which will be going directly to the Valley Fire Victims through the Moose Lodge in Clearlake and Middletown Animal Hospital. We will continue to keep the donation link up so people can continue to donate in the new few weeks. The night started off with [Read More]

Community comes together to help Valley Fire Victims with a Benefit Concert

September 15, 2015

In the past week I have had to write about two fires, first the iconic Full Throttle Saloon burned down and then about the limo that was carrying band members of Jake E Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel.  Here I am once again writing about another fire and this one has hit very close to home. On Saturday, September 12th, we noticed the clouds to the East of us had grown dark and filled with smoke. Shortly after we learned of a fire on Cobb Mountain in Lake County and it was rapidly growing at an aggressive rate. It left people with little time to gather their belongings as they had to evacuate their homes. We spent the entire night looking for updates and watching the orange sky in our backyard, worrying about those in the path of the fire. Sunday, we learned of the devastation that the fire had ensued as it had grown to 10,000 acres, then 25,000 acres, then to an astonishing 50,000 acres and zero containment. The fire at last check is [Read More]
