  Friday night, San Francisco’s Cafe DuNord hosted a sold out show featuring the extraordinary young guitarist Emi Grace. Emi was opening for Winnetka Bowling.League. Despite her youth, Emi Grace has already carved out a significant presence in the  music world. She garnered high praise for her self-taught guitar playing which showcased her unique shredding prowess and distinctive trashy tone. Hannah Wicklund lights up the Cafe DuNord with her stellar solo set

Last night opening up for Devon Gilfillian on his headlining tour, Hannah Wicklund performed a solo set in San Francisco.  Capturing the illustrious singer/songwriter/guitarist Hannah in the intimate setting of the Cafe DuNord was the crowning achievement for a midweek show in the city.  She delivered a flawless set that highlighted her passion and dedication in creating musical compositions with lyrics that bring vulnerability as well as empowerment to life. Bravo to this young lady who is a true powerhouse in the music scene today. The set started off with the blistering track On Fire, where you can really hear her guitarwork shine on a Gibson semi-hollow. The tone was impeccable.   Pennsylvania born singer-songwriter Devon Gilfillian made a stop in San Francisco out on his Love You Anyway Tour. The CafeDuNord might be small but it was ready for the big sound of Devon as the venue was packed for his show. Okey Dokey are more than alright, they are a must see band

Saturday night, we caught Okey Dokey open up for Zella Day out on the Hot Summer Nights Tour and it was awesome.  I love it when I get to catch a band I am not familiar with and they blow us away. That is exactly what Okey Dokey did for us.  Their music is a addictive blend of 60’s groove pop and indie rock.  Imagine a modern day indie version of the Doors and frontman Aaron Martin channels a Jim Morrison vibe that will have you hooked right from the start. Zella Day shines bright in San Francisco at the Cafe DuNord

Saturday night in San Francisco was the place to be as Zella Day brought her Hot Summer Dreams Tour.  It was definitely one hot summer night and Day’s performance was truly a dream come true.  The sold out show had the crowd in anticipation from the start as Okey Dokey kicked off the night with a spectacular set. Everybody was screaming out for Day as she hit the stage and delivered a non-stop energetic and captivating set.  She had the crowd enamored with every note.
