Concordia gets you energized with their new music!

Con·cor·di·a  [kon-kawr-dee-uh]    noun:  1. the ancient Roman goddess of harmony or peace.  2. a KICK ASS Rock Band from Cleveland, Ohio that you have to know about!   I told you a bit about Concordia when I went to see them open up for 12 Stones at the Phoenix in Petaluma earlier this year. You can read more about that show here.  Well since then, I have been immensely enjoying my CD that I picked up at that show, aptly titled “Clarity of Perception”.  Their sound blends many of my favorite music styles together to create an intense fusion of music that gives you catchy melodies, energy driven riffs, fantastic vocals that keep you engaged and energized.  You can head over to Concordia’s website to get your own copy of “Clarity of Perception” or download from Itunes. Get Infected with 12 Stones!

Earlier this past week, I went to see 12 Stones perform at the historical Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, Ca. This theater was first opened in 1905 and held historical acts such as Harry Houdini and Lily Langtree. Over the years it has housed acts such as Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Ramones, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins and so much more. The current owner Tom Gaffey has continued to keep it open as an all-ages music venue and I applaud him as to how he has gone through great lengths to keep music alive in our area. So I was excited to see 12 Stones would be playing there and they were even bringing along their touring band, Concordia which I had just been happily introduced to earlier in the month after hearing them open up for Smile Empty Soul.  In addition, three great local bands were added to the opening lineup.
