We just received word that Trivium have announced they are parting ways with their drummer, Nick Augusto. They made the following post via their Facebook page:   To Trivium Fans, Friends and Family: I had asked everyone to make this statement regarding Nick, personally and on behalf of the band because of the history we both have had together as friends and bandmates. There is no easy way to go about parting ways with someone; whether it’s in a band or not, but if it is coming directly from one of us, I hope that it will be perceived out of our respectfor him. Last week on October 15th Trivium gave a hell of a show at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. We got there in time to see DevilDriver open up for them and they did a kick ass show as well.  Then Trivium came out and just unleashed their ferocious selves on San Francisco! It was great to watch and see the action in the pit as well as everyone around. They were all having a great time. Check out a tribute video that Rockin Ryan put together to “BLACK” that includes footage and photos from the night.   One thing is for sure, these four guys come out blazing and don’t stop until they step off that stage. Stage presence is spectacular as their energy is just non stop. Matt Heafy on Guitar and Lead Vocals is definitely a crowd pleaser.
