Taking influence from bands like BLOOD FOR BLOOD, HATEBREED, and MADBALL; LIONHEART came out swinging with a full-blown assault of blistering metallic hardcore. IN THE NEWS TODAY… Enter Shikari are excited to announce the release of their tour documentary “Further East”, shot in March 2019 when the band returned to Russia as part of their extensive Stop The Clocks tour, which ran from Winter 2018 and has just concluded in the U.S. The quartet undertook an eight-date tour of Russia across a two-week period venturing beyond the traditional Moscow / St Petersburg track covering vast distances including Nizhny Novgorod in the Volga region of the country and Krasnoyarsk in Siberia. PureGrainAudio have released a mini documentary which highlights in detail the recent release of Cancer Bats new album, Searching For Zero. The site teamed with The Visual Medium and Toronto’s Cancer Bats and includes footage from the album release show held on Thursday March 12th at The Phoenix Concert Theatre.  Interview with Denny Tedesco, Director of “The Wrecking Crews” documentary on the session musicians who brought the world rock and roll.   Patrick O’Heffernan (Los Angeles) The film The Wrecking Crew, is the story of guitarist Tommy Tedesco and the session musicians who played on hundreds, if not thousands of the hit records of the 60’s and 70’s.  Eighteen years in the making, The Wrecking Crew features interviews with the group members, stars like Cher and Nancy Sinatra and Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, plus the music of the times.   Few fans realized that the people playing on the 45’s they bought were often not the bands shown on the cover, but a fluid group of session musicians, some of whom did not originally like rock and roll  but made a good living playing it in the studio. In the late forties and early 50’s, thousands of men who had returned home from World War II found that the Midwest farms and Southern towns and even the Texas oil patch could not support their families.  So they headed to Southern California to work in the burgeoning aircraft industry, often with guitars and drum kits strapped on top of their cars.
