We have exciting news to share as drummer Mike Portnoy returns to Dream Theater. Check out the news below: GRAMMY®-winning, progressive music titans Dream Theater are announcing the return of drummer Mike Portnoy to the group. Portnoy will reunite with guitarist John Petrucci and bassist John Myung – the trio formed the band at the Berklee College Of Music in 1985 – along with longtime members, vocalist James LaBrie and keyboardist Jordan Rudess. TORNADO release video for David and Goliath with a great Anti-Bullying message

The bad ass thrash/glam metal band TORNADO from Finland have recently released a new music video for their stellar song, David and Goliath. If you have ever felt the insurmountable challenge of facing a bully it can be quite daunting and overwhelming. I know for me that in my most difficult times, music is always there to rescue me. TORNADO’s new video focuses on Bullying and delivers an Anti-Bullying message. In regards to the poignant new video, guitarist Tommy Shred comments, “The bully is always a loser. Mr. Big’s Pat Torpey continues to rock out with his life after a Parkinson’s diagnosis.

Parkinson’s has turned my mother’s world upside down as she battles the late stages of Parkinson’s. Throughout it all, she has been remarkably optimistic, hopeful and such a fighter. Whether we have to coax her into taking her 25 something pills a day ranging from medicines, vitamins, as well as Holistic treatments, she has amazed me with her determination in proving that Parkinson’s will not define her. I admire her and her tenacity as she fights this disease. As many of you might know, Mr. Big’s drummer Pat Torpey was diagnosed with Parkinson’s last year. It was a dark time for him as he was faced with the diagnosis of Parkinson’s and led him to a dark time. He has found the light at the end of the tunnel and continues to rock out with Parkinson’s. First we would like to introduce our new drummer Mr. Niko McNasty who replaces Jani Niemela who unfortunately had to leave the band due to problems in his hands.
