KXM makes a huge impact on the charts with their debut album

What started out as a jam session among three friends is now taking the charts by storm. KXM which is comprised of dUg Pinnick  (King’s X), George Lynch (Lynch Mob/Dokken) and Ray Luzier (Korn) released their debut self titled album last week. The album landed at  #31 on the Billboard Top 200 selling over 9800 units this week. In addition, the album also hit #1 in Hard Rock & Metal on Amazon, #6 on the iTunes Top Rock Albums chart, and #7 on the Top Current Rock Albums chart. Now and days many musicians have side projects or are in several bands at the same time. We all remember the time, when side projects could signify a band break up or member replacements but now, it is a welcome change. For many passionate musicians time spent off the road or not recording, can cause them to be a bit stir-crazy.
