Concert Review: Glamour Of The Kill with Neoblind at Backstage Club in Munich contributed by Alexandra

Munich, Backstage Club, March 16, 2015 Contributed by Alexandra The venue, that Glamour Of The Kill played in, is a really small club, but cozy and just right for a fun night and that’s what it was. The opening band was Neoblind, a local band from Augsburg. They are currently partaking in a band-competition, where they just reached the semi-finale. Glamour Of The Kill started their set with the song ‘Out Of Conrol’ from their recent EP ‘After hours’. The original track was recorded with Jacoby Shaddix, who’s known to everyone as the frontman of Papa Roach. The set consisted of songs from the last two CD’s ‘Summoning’ and ‘Savages’ and they played, besides ‘Out Of Control’ also all the other songs of their current EP and an amazing cover of ‘Love Gun’ by Kiss. The start was announced for 9.30 pm, but already at 9 pm New Years Day started playing. It was their first time in Germany, as singer Ash Costella told, but they were not completely unknown to part of the audience that sang along their songs. Next up were Glamour Of The Kill from the UK. It’s been their second time in Germany. Last time they came here, they opened up for Papa Roach. Jacoby Shaddix, the singer of Papa Roach, makes an appearance on GOTK’s new single Out of Control which they also played that night, along with well known songs like Second Chance and Freak Like Me. Glamour of the Kill set to release Savages on May 13th amid U.S. Tour

One of England’s hardest working bands, Glamour of the Kill are set to return to the United States for a tour in support of their upcoming album, Savages. Savages has a release date of May 13th for the U.S. and vocalist Davey Richmond explains,  “We are more than excited that our second full length SAVAGES will be released to the GOTK family in America! We are so proud of this record and can’t wait for everyone to hear it and learn the words!“ The album was produced by Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria) and have already seen great success in the UK with their music video for Second Chance and their very popular singles, Freak Like Me and Break which features Michael Vampire (The Killing Lights, Vampires Everywhere).
