Havok announces the addition of bassist Nick Schendzielos

  Denver, Colorado thrash maniacs HAVOK have announced the addition of bassist Nick Schendzielos (Job For A Cowboy, Cephalic Carnage) after parting ways with Mike Leon. Leon, who spent two years with HAVOK and appeared on the band’s 2013 release Unnatural Selection, will be joining metal icons SOULFLY on their upcoming North American tour. HAVOK vocalist/guitarist David Sanchez comments on Mike’s departure, “Mike is an amazing musician and rock-solid performer! I would like to thank him for lending his talent to the band for two years. I will always love the music he writes and appreciate his abilities.” The newly indoctrinated Schendzielos will record bass on HAVOK’s upcoming fourth studio album and take part in the band’s upcoming North American headlining tour. Havok drummer Pete Webber to sit out select dates of Symmetry In Black Tour

Denver heavy thrashers Havok have been busy touring overseas which took them all over Europe. They are gearing up for their North American “Symmetry in Black” Tour featuring HAVOK w/ CROWBAR, REVOCATION, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, ARMED FOR APOCALYPSE. Drummer Pete Webber will be sitting out select dates of the tour due to a family emergency and Wretched’s Marshall Wieczorek will be filling in temporarily. Pete comments: “As some of you may have heard, my mother was in a tragic accident and is in very serious condition in the ICU in Boston. This unfortunately means I will have to miss out on at least a portion of our future shows. I must be by mom and family’s side during these difficult times…Our pal Marshall from WRETCHED will be filling in on my duties. He is a good friend of ours and a great drummer! Havok announce their headlining “Until The Thrash Takes us” Tour in Mexico

Denver heavy thrashers Havok have been busy touring overseas which took them all over Europe. They are gearing up for their North American “Symmetry in Black” Tour featuring HAVOK w/ CROWBAR, REVOCATION, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, ARMED FOR APOCALYPSE. Right after that tour, you can expect to find them heading right back out. Havok premier new video for Chasing the Edge

Denver heavy thrashers Havok have premiered the new video for their song Chasing the Edge which is off their third length full album on Candlelight Records, Unnatural Selection. The album was produced by guitarist David Sanchez, mixed by Terry Date (PANTERA, DEFTONES, OVERKILL) and mastered by James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, LAZARUS AD). The album features the original artwork from Polish illustrator Rafal Wechterowicz (SLAYER, MASTODON). This song is dedicated to Nicolaus Copernicus and his groundbreaking idea that sparked the modern scientific revolution.
