Day 2 of Guitarists goes to Sid Glover of Heaven’s Basement

Today is Day 2 of our Guitarists and we are proud to bring you Sid Glover of Heaven’s Basement. Sid is a madman on his Gibson. We saw Sid a couple times this year and he just doesn’t disappoint. Heaven’s Basement quickly rose to fame in the States this year and we couldn’t wait to see Sid play live at Aftershock Festival in September. Heaven’s Basement performs a spectacular cover of a Lady Gaga Song!

This has been quite a year for UK rockers Heaven’s Basement. They stole the show at the Ernie Ball stage during the Aftershock Festival in September. You can read more about that here. Then they went out on tour with The Pretty Reckless and Louna and were amazing! You can check out more about that here. They have recently finished up the Going To Hell Tour and returned home. They then went to perform a cover for Phil Taggart and Alice Levine for the Live Lounge on BBC Radio 1. Well, it was quite an AMAZING performance! Heaven’s Basement performed a cover of Lady Ga Ga’s Do What U Want. Honestly, this cover quite trumps the original by tenfold! Heaven’s Basement makes quite an impression on San Francisco!

Last month we told you how UK rockers Heaven’s Basement really stole the show at the Ernie Ball stage during the Aftershock Festival. You can read more about that here. Well this past weekend, Heaven’s Basement made their debut appearance in San Francisco at Slim’s where they were performing with The Pretty Reckless and Louna. The lineup alone was incredible as it had British, American and Russian bands touring together on the Going to Hell Tour and they really put on quite a show. Shortly before their set, we had the opportunity to interview Sid Glover and Aaron Buchanan as they told us about what other countries they look forward to touring next. Heaven’s Basement highlights and interview from Aftershock Festival 2013

Aftershock Festival brought out a whole long list of great bands and one that I was truly looking forward to was Heaven’s Basement!!! We have been listening to them for a while and it was great seeing them at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in May. I couldn’t wait to see them live since they truly just rock with their hit single, “Fire, Fire“. So when I saw them on the bill for Aftershock, I couldn’t wait to see them. Well they took over the Ernie Ball stage and truly delivered an arena style performance. These young guys know how to ROCK and had the crowd instantly pumped! 12 Days of Rock Christmas! Day 1 On the first day of Christmas, my Rock and Roll love gave to me, down and dirty hard rock sound by Heaven’s Basement! This band from England is going to be on the tip of all your tongues in 2013, mark my words. These four guys have a stadium rock sound that needs to be unleashed here in the States. They deliver rock that has just received 1000 volts of power. Caution! The defibrillator paddles have been brought out and just brought old school Rock and Roll ALIVE!!! Heaven’s Basement has invigorated music and it is exactly what we need more of. They are just getting back to England from touring Europe and treating those lucky concertgoers to melt your face ROCK!
