  HOPELESS RECORDS AND FAT WRECK CHORDS ANNOUNCE LANDMARK PARTNERSHIP, UNITING TWO OF PUNK’S BELOVED ICONIC INDEPENDENT LABELS NEW MUSIC FROM BAD COP BAD COP, RARE NOFX TRACKS, AND A CLASSIC STRUNG OUT REISSUE LAUNCH THE FAT & HOPELESS ERA   Hopeless and Fat Wreck Chords are today announcing a joint effort that unites two of punk’s most influential independent labels. In a full-circle moment more than three decades in the making, the alliance reflects both labels’ artist-first ethos and deep roots in the punk community. As part of the partnership, Hopeless is acquiring the Fat Wreck Chords catalog, but just as important is what’s being left behind. As the Los Angeles based alt pop band ushers in a new era the release of their new single, i should call my friends makes a big splash. The infectious new track will have longtime fans and new ones dancing along in no time. Hopeless Records announce ‚Songs That Saved My Life Vol. 2’

Hopeless Records announces “Songs That Saved My Life Vol. 2”, a brand centered around music that has played a pivotal role in the lives of artists and fans and that benefits mental health and suicide prevention charities. The compilation follows 2018’s Vol. 1 and will be released on November 8 through Hopeless Records. The album includes covers from bands like With Confidence, Silverstein, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Mayday Parade and more. Waterparks release new video ‚High Definition’

Waterparks released a new song/video today – ‘High Denfinition’. It’s taken from their upcoming record ‘FANDOM’, which will be released October 11th through Hopeless Records. “FANDOM“, the third full-length from Waterparks (and first on Hopeless Records) is produced by Zakk Cervini (Good Charlotte, Beartooth). It is an eclectic and enigmatic collection of songs that include “Dream Boy”,  “Watch What Happens Next” and the frenetic, tornado-like, “Turbulent” that was released in late May. Waterparks will be on tour through the US in November and December 2019, followed by a tour through Europe/UK in January/February 2020. Some US dates are already sold out, so better be quick. Coldrain from Japan have released The Revelation

Hopeless Records have just released the new album form Coldrain from Japan. Coldrain are from Nagoya, Japan and were formed in 2007, five members of two local bands decided to come together and become more than just local. Composed of lead vocalist Masato, bassist RxYxO (Ryo), drummer Katsuma, and guitarists Y.K.C (Yokochi) and Sugi. Shortly after forming, the band set off for their first tour and played in 30 venues across Japan. They have an awesome sound that could be compared to an offspring of Bring Me The Horizon and Sleeping With Sirens. What is unique is that this band has worked at creating their own signature sound and have had major success in their home country, especially with their 2012 EP Through Clarity. The album was produced by the award winning David Bendeth (Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, A Day To Remember), The Revelation is the band’s debut international album and is available now world wide.
