Dani explains, “Don’t Count Me Out is a song we’ve drawn from personal experiences but hope it has a universal theme. We’ve been playing it live for awhile and the response from the audiences really helped us know how to produce the song for the studio version.“  and Scott mentions, “We’re excited to still be in each other’s lives and working towards something together. Zach Sobiech touched many lives, Rest in Peace

May 23, 2013

Zach Sobiech May 22, 2013 I just received the news that the talented musician and wonderful soul, Zach Sobiech that I interviewed last December has passed away on May 20th. We all knew that Zach had just a few months to live since we spoke with him back then but it just breaks my heart. His positive outlook on life and death, truly touched me and I believe every person that he was in contact with was also touched by his fighting spirit and his pure love for all. He will be truly missed but never forgotten. His advice and words will live on and we can all learn from this brave young man. Here is a video documentary that SoulPancake made about Zach and his Last Days. Here is the video of the Celebrities Clouds video: Lastly, here is our tribute video to Zach Sobiech, we used his Go To Song for it, “Who Needs Air” by The Classic Crime.   I have also included our original interview with him. Dave Grohl at SXSW urges you to find your own voice!

March 14, 2013

Dave Grohl inspires at SXSW Dave Grohl delivers an incredibly inspiring Keynote Address at SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas. Dave’s speech is absolutely remarkable to watch. His sense of humor and personality really shines through. If you are a musician, there is no way possible that you can watch this video and not be even more inspired and dedicated to music. His speech goes on to recount his Do-it-Yourself  Recordings when he was just 12 years old and also how Nirvana changed his life and how he dealt with the death of Kurt Cobain.  You really have to watch it for yourself. It possibly can be the best spent 60 minutes you spend to keep your motivation and dedication to music. My favorite quote is when Dave talks about when he first started playing guitar and how it absorbed him. “I devoted every waking hour to playing music. It became my religion,  the record store; my church, the Rock Stars; my saints and their songs; my hymns” Those words there ring true for so many [Read More]
