Vocal issues have plagued lead singer Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach for some time now. It was last year that he spoke about a node forming on his vocal chord and which eventually led him to  have surgery. He successfully recovered from that surgery and has gone on to kick ass at shows with his incredible voice. He truly is one of my favorite vocalists! Papa Roach just released a statement announcing suspension of their South American tour dates due to Jacoby Shaddix’s strained vocal chords. Last week, due to vocal issues, Papa Roach had to cancel their show in Berlin. They did continue on to play on the next shows but we are still concerned for Jacoby and his voice. Today he posted a photo of himself with the caption : OXYGEN AND STEROIDS FOR SWOLLEN VOCAL CHORDS!!! THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!
