Crossfaith return with “Gimme Danger” feat. ralph

February 12, 2022

Japanese genre-blenders Crossfaith channel rock, metal, rap and grime on their new single ‘Gimme Danger’ (ft. ralph), out via UNFD alongside a new music video. Speaking of the song, frontman Kenta Koie says: “We decided to write new music to heal people and boost their minds. We still can’t play live, but we can deliver new music to our fans and I’m pretty sure that is our role under these circumstances,  he shares, adding that the vocal feature of grime-inspired local rapper ralph brought both an energy, intensity and chemistry to the song. “On ‘Gimme Danger’ we welcome ralph, an upcoming rapper who has the essence of grime. We feel a real chemistry, and our fans can catch new feelings with it. Those moments where people have a new experience are more important than just making music – we want to achieve something which we haven’t figured out already, so our exploring will keep going.” ‘Gimme Danger’ also features an audio sample of the audience clapping during Crossfaith’s last headline tour in Japan. Crossfaith release new single “Feel Alive”

October 12, 2021

Japanese genre-blenders Crossfaith, have released a brand new single “Feel Alive”. Speaking of the song, frontman Kenta Koie says: ‘Feel Alive’ was the first song that we wrote since COVID-19 brought our world down into chaos. Everyone was forced to be alone and divided by the virus, thus we decided to make this song as a hope that cast the shadow. Also, we wanted to make it with our fans, so we recorded our fans clapping at our first show back since this unexpected disaster. In addition, we worked with Josh from Modestep on Feel Alive so you can hear true essence of UK bass music! This song means a lot to us, and hope this will be the light that shines on you”. About Crossfaith “Playing heavy music is how I feel alive,” says Koie. “We want Crossfaith to be the band making music that no one has ever heard before”. VIDEO: Coldrain releases new video, Born To Bleed off latest album VENA II

September 27, 2016

Japanese rockers Coldrain have just released a music video for their track, Born To Bleed. On the song and music video (directed by Inni Vision), frontman Masato Hayakawa explains: “While we were touring and writing this song it seemed like all the places we had been to had just been through some sort of devastating act of hate. Terrorist attacks and shootings were happening everywhere. There was so much pain that was more real to us than before. Living in Japan we live in fear of natural disasters. The number of earthquakes that happen is insane and the amount of people they injure or kill is way too much.   When I was writing I just kept writing down why?  Why is there so much hate…why is there so much danger, pain and suffering.  I couldn’t find the answers.    But I just had to throw those questions in my head out there. This is how the song became ‘Born To Bleed’   The lyrics were written with dark emotions and hope mixed up. I wanted [Read More]

Vans Warped Tour truly brings so many great bands to everyone, some you may know, some you may have heard of but never seen and some you may have never heard of before. The great thing about Warped Tour is the exposure that these bands receive and how they make so many new fans after their performances. Our Warped Tour discovery highlight choice goes to a band that I have never heard of or seen before and when I did, they completely blew me away!  They are One Ok Rock from Japan.
