TOUR: Lacuna Coil Announces Dates for North American Tour with Epica

One of our favorite metal bands, Lacuna Coil has announced that they will be joining Dutch Symphonic Metal giants Epica on the North American Leg of the band’s “Ultimate Principal” Tour. Check out the news below: The month long September trek marks Lacuna Coil’s first US tour dates in over a year, as the band continues to support their latest full length studio effort, Delirium. Lacuna Coil adds dates for second leg of North American Delirium Tour

Lacuna Coil are gearing up for their North American Delirium Tour this May. They will be kicking off their tour starting in San Francisco on May 7th. This will be their first US run in support of their much-anticipated new album Delirium, which is set for a May 27th release through Century Media Records.Following the first leg of the tour, which features Butcher Babies, 9ELECTRIC, and Painted Wives; the second leg (starting May 31) will see Stitched Up Heart join the lineup as direct support while 9ELECTRIC and Painted Wives continue to round out the tour package. We are very excited to announce our Day 7 featured vocalist as Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil. This is one amazing woman with a powerful voice that truly ignites energy in a crowd and emotions in your heart. Cristina is stunning on stage as she captivates her crowd and always gives a 150% of herself at each and every show. Her vocal range is superb and she has this way of truly connecting with the listener and their emotions which is somewhat hard to do when you are dealing with hard rock and metal. For Cristina, it appears to come so easy as her voice takes you on a musical journey that you don’t want to end. She can deliver deep powerful lyrics as well as serenade with sweet angelic tones, simply beautiful! She is also a beautiful person inside and out and has a charming personality that just lights up any room she enters. Concert Review: Devilment / Motionless In White / Lacuna Coil at Backstage in Munich, Germany

Contributed by Alexandra Arriving a bit later than usual (it was about 30 minutes before show start) most people were already inside. The crowd was pretty mixed age-wise, the average definitely older than 30 I’d say, which in my opinion resides in the main act Lacuna Coil being around for quite some time in the music business and having a fan-base that started to build a while back. 8pm was show start. There’s really not much to say about the first opener Devilment. The music itself wasn’t that bad, but you have to be into the kind of singing their vocalist Dani Filth does which is high pitched screams or low voiced growling. The crowd waited for what was about to come. Next on were Motionless In White. They already had a fan base and I’m pretty sure they gained some new ones that night. It was a very energetic set. Lacuna Coil is our Monster Energy Aftershock Featured Band of the Day

Lacuna Coil is probably one of my favorite bands today. I am ecstatic to see them on the lineup for this year’s Monster Energy Aftershock Festival. They are going to give the crowd one of the best empowering sets they have seen in a while. It will be great to hear from the poor souls who have never seen them or heard of them before and what they think about them after. It is amazing to watch the intensity that Lacuna Coil brings to life on the stage. You are absolutely captivated by all five of them during their performance. They each have excellent stage presence and bring this intense level of symphonic style melody to metal that is just addictive and one of my faves.
