CONCERT REVIEW: Black Veil Brides, Fearless Vampire Killers and Like A Storm in Munich Contributed by Alexandra

March 22, 2015

Concert Review Contributed by Alexandra Black Veil Brides with Like A Storm and Fearless Vampire Killers Munich, Theaterfabrik, March 21, 2015   The location that Black Veil Brides played at is close to one of our bigger train stations. It’s a big area of clubs and venues and since it was a Saturday night is was swarming with people. Always a hard time to find a parking space and it had just started raining about an hour ago. So after I finally found a place to park my car, I headed to the venue and got there when they already had started to let people in, so I at least didn’t need to queue. We were two photographers. They told us to wait until we would be lead to the photo pit for the first band to shoot. After a while they seem to have decided that we could get in by ourselves. So when I was finally entering the venue, it was packed and Like A Storm had just started to play, about 15 [Read More]

Like A Storm take over the Ace of Spades on the Blood for Blood Tour

February 9, 2015

Last night we were at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento for the Hellyeah Blood For Blood Tour. With the crowd arriving early and wrapping around the block a couple hours before doors opening, gave us all the indication we were in for a packed house. We arrived and caught a couple songs of Archer who warmed up the crowd and then Like A Storm came out and once again delivered a 150% with their performance. We have been seeing them perform since they first toured the states with Alter Bridge back in 2010/2011 and they are just as impressive as that first time they blew us away. It was awesome to see so many Like A Storm shirts in the crowd and how so many were singing along to and knew all the words. We had the chance to chat with bassist, Kent Brooks earlier before the show and we will be bringing you that interview later this week. We got to talk about this tour and how you can get yourself a VIP [Read More]

Like A Storm return to San Francisco with a spectacular crowd pleasing set!

October 27, 2014

From the first time I saw Like A Storm perform as the opening act for Alter Bridge in 2011 at the Regency Ballroom, I knew this was one band to watch out for. They just had the most amazing energy and a stage presence well beyond their young years. Fast forward to 2014 and they have really become one of the bands to truly take over 2014. They have been busy doing some non stop touring and still have more dates ahead. Well this past weekend it was a déjà vu moment as Like A Storm returned to San Francisco as support for Alter Bridge. This time they took the stage at the legendary Warfield Theater. It was a packed house and once again Like A Storm came out and delivered a non-stop energetic set that had everyone know who they were! They rocked the place and it is amazing to see how the crowd was purely engaged with them. Check out the photos by our Rockin Ryan of their set: What an incredible night and [Read More]

Video by Like A Storm for Love the Way You Hate Me hits a million views and catch them on tour

September 17, 2014

From the first time I saw Like A Storm perform as the opening act for Alter Bridge in 2011 at the Regency Ballroom, I knew this was one band to watch out for. They just had the most amazing energy and a stage presence well beyond their young years. Fast forward to 2014 and they have really become one of the bands to truly take over 2014. They have been busy doing some non stop touring and have even announced more tour dates. Their single, Love the Way You Hate Me made a heavy impact on the charts and the video has most recently reached a million views. “We were absolutely blown away when our “Love the Way You Hate Me” video hit one million views! For three brothers from New Zealand, it is just insane to think that a song we wrote, recorded and produced ourselves has had over a million hits from rock fans all over the world… especially when that song features a didgeridoo! We want to say a huge thank you to [Read More]

Century Media Founder launches new label, Another Century which will focus on hard rock

August 20, 2014

Century Media Records have continued to have great success with heavy metal and metalcore bands. Century Media founder Robert Kampf announces the launch of new label, Another Century which will focus on hard rock bands. Robert explains, Twenty five years after starting Century Media the excitement to do another version of the label could not be any larger. My undying love for rock has driven the formation of this label ANOTHER CENTURY. Over the years great bands like Otherwise and In This Moment have been released on Century Media but sometimes got lost or felt ill mixed among some of the heavier CM bands. Another Century now has a clear path and mission statement: To develop and break the best bands in rock to come!!! Another Century has already signed 3 bands to the roster; Los Angeles rock veterans, Rev Theory, New Zealand’s rising stars,Like A Storm, and Chicago based, The Bloodline.  Also Otherwise will be releasing their new album, Peace at All Costs next month on September 16th. You can read more about our feature of Otherwise here: [Read More]
