Check out the new single from London alternative rockers Forrest

December 30, 2015

As we head into the new year, I hope you make a very special resolution to find new music and bands to fall in love with in 2016. How about I start you off with the great alternative rock band from London, Forrest. Forrest was created by frontman/guitarist, Ollie Forrest, in early 2015. Just a week after forming, the band, which is now completed by Flora Connell on keys, Louis Potts on drums and Paul Taylor-Wale on bass, played their first gigs at South by Southwest in Austin, TX, where they recorded their first two songs, “Without A Care” and “Fire.” Forrest have just released a new single that will capture your attention. Check out the new single, Give You My Love here:   They have such an infectious sound that has hints of 80’s retro, swaddled in 90’s alternative and updated with a modern rockin vibe. This is one band that you will be hearing a lot from in 2016. We will see if we can bring you an interview with them so you can [Read More]

Concert Review: Black Veil Brides Black Mass Tour 2014 – O2 Academy Brixton, London

October 11, 2014

Concert Review – Black Veil Brides – Black Mass Tour 2014 – O2 Academy Brixton, London, Oct. 4th 2014 Contributed by Alexandra –  Twitter; https://twitter.com/lexi22473_b  Arriving at the venue, there’s already a big crowd lining up around the block. The end of the line reached the start and they asked everyone to get closer together, so there’s enough place for everyone to queue. With opening the doors at 7 pm, the crowd was off and started moving. People with O2 phones got in first and the rest followed through quickly. Inside, Drama Club already started their set. The steady beat of their tunes got the crowd going. Part of their set was a remix of Andy Black’s (Andy Biersacks moniker), “They Don’t Need To Understand“. If they didn’t have everyone on their side, now they had. Even though they don’t play a classic rock sound they fit in pretty good. Next on were UK residents Fearless Vampire Killers. They were obviously known to many people. Singers/guitarists Kier Kemp and Laurenence Beveridge switch singers position after a [Read More]
