Shattered Sun are gearing up to head out on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. They will be performing all summer long on the Victory Stage on Mayhem Fest. After Mayhem they will be heading out on the ‘We Sold Our Souls To Metal Tour’ alongside Soulfly, Soilwork and Decapitated. Mushroomhead releases new video for Out of My Mind and announce co-headline tour

One of our top highlights of this year’s Rockstar Mayhem Fest was seeing the amazing sets by Mushroomhead. They deliver an energetic filled, dynamic set every time. Mushroomhead is definitely a highlight of Rockstar Energy Mayhem Fest

This past weekend, we made it out to the Rockstar Mayhem Fest as it made it’s stop at the Shoreline Amphitheater on July 6th. We are looking forward to telling you about all the great sets but we wanted to tell you about one of the highlights of the Festival. We were excited to see that this band lives up to and exceeds anyone’s expectations with their energy filled dynamic set. The highlighted band we are talking about is none other than the great Mushroomhead. They came out onto the Coldcock American Herbal Whiskey stage to a packed crowd that extended all the way to the booths. The energy of the crowd was intense and once Mushroomhead began to play, the energy was raised ten fold! It was unreal and amazing. Here we are only days away from the start of this year’s Rockstar Mayhem Fest coming to the Bay Area at the Shoreline Amphitheater on July 6th. One of the bands has been getting quite a lot of attention as they get ready to release their new album, The World Is My Enemy Now. So after all the hysteria over the publicity post for Upon A Burning Body from earlier today, they have released a bad ass new track! As I mentioned earlier in my post, I hope people just get over it and move forward. Publicity stunts have been around for ages and will continue to be around. It is a form of art and is used in a dramatic effect to create an element of mystery, anticipation and so much more. Sadly, we now live in hyper-sensitive and overly magnified world in which within minutes news travels as is no longer considered a “hype” or “build-up”. Sumerian releases statement on Upon a Burning Body publicity stunt

Here is the statement that just posted on Sumerian FaceBook Page about the report of Danny Leal Missing: I woke up to a ton of missed calls and just saw all this stuff about Danny Leal of UABB posing as that he’s been abducted or kidnapped. My phone hasn’t stopped ringing since. As a child, we all learn the story “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” and it sticks within our consciousness for a reason. I do not condone this type of publicity stunt. This was done behind my back and I am not OK with it. In my eyes, there’s never a time to use the possibility of real-life abduction, injury or murder of someone you care about to promote anything, especially an album. If you need to resort to that, then you have lost the plot. We are counting down the days to Rockstar Mayhem Fest coming to the Bay Area at the Shoreline Amphitheater on July 6th. We are looking forward to all the great bands and today we wanted to put our spotlight on one of the amazing bands on the lineup. Today our featured band of the day is Trivium. Trivium is an awesome band live since they can replicate their studio sound impeccably. These guys come out blazing and don’t stop until they step off that stage. Stage presence is spectacular as their energy is just non stop. Matt Heafy on Guitar and Lead Vocals is definitely a crowd pleaser.
