Glass Delirium releases a recreated parody video of Separate Ways by Journey

As you know when MTV came out, every band couldn’t wait to make their music videos and the outcome was an abundance of music videos trying to tell a story within 3 to 4 minutes and sometimes on an extreme budget. With the help of Youtube, it has allowed all of us to relive our youth by watching the old music videos, sometimes we look back and wonder what we saw in so many of those videos. How about the video for Separate Ways by Journey, do you remember that one? Alternative rockers, Glass Delirium, whom do an excellent live cover of the song, decided to recreate the Separate Ways video, shot for shot. It is great! PALAYE ROYALE WIN FINAL ROUND OF 2014 MTV MUSICAL MARCH MADNESS!!!

Here you go! PALAYE ROYALE just made history and I have never doubted them for a second!  We wrote about PALAYE ROYALE last year and simply titled them “The Best Indie Rock Band out Today That You Have to Hear“. Well I am glad to see that they are continuing to get the praise and recognition that they truly deserve.  Most recently, PALAYE ROYALE was the only unsigned band to be nominated in the MTV Musical March Madness. That is not where they stopped, they deserve to be at the Top and that is exactly where they are headed. This year it is the 5th Annual MTV Musical March Madness and we were ecstatic to see them make it through the following rounds: Round 1  beating out Vampire Weekend Round 2  beating out Coldplay Round 3 beating out Bastille Round 4 beating out Tokio Hotel Round 5 beating out We Are The In Crowd Round 6 beating Linkin Park   They DID IT!!! PALAYE ROYALE makes it to the FINAL ROUND OF MTV MUSICAL MARCH MADNESS!!!

Here you go! 1982… For me… what a year… Freshman/Sophmore year at the all girls Catholic School Notre Dame in Belmont, California. I begged to go to the local public school after going to private uniform schools for the past 8 years but no luck…. So the best part is I remember we had MTV. We had just got it and I was glued to it the fist couple weekends that we had it. I remember we were vacationing at the house we rented every summer in Lake Tahoe and we got up there and they had the MTV channel. My whole world changed!! It happened to be the weekend where they spent most of it broadcasting Todd Rundgren Utopia concert but I got enough music videos to beg my Father to get it for us when we got back.
