Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators have released a new track that you have to check out. It is their cover of Elton John’s Rocket Man. The song is on the sountrack for the Disney movie Stuntman. About the movie Directed by Kurt Mattila. It follows professional Hollywood Stuntman Eddie Braun as he prepares and attempts the most dangerous stunt of his career. Contemplating retirement and having survived over three decades of hellacious car crashes, explosions, high falls, and death-defying leaps, Eddie Braun decides to finish out his career by recreating the infamous Snake River Canyon rocket jump, an audacious televised event that almost killed the man who inspired Eddie to become a professional stuntman: Evel Knievel. The Song The song was recorded at the historic Sunset Studio. Myles Kennedy delivers emotionally driven vocals and captures the emotion of the movie creating an epic tribute to an incredible song. MUSIC NEWS: Powerful and crowd-pleasing set by Myles Kennedy at Slim’s in SF

Myles Kennedy is out on his solo tour in support of his album, Year of the Tiger. The tour made a highly anticipated stop in San Francisco Saturday night at Slim’s. The venue was packed and ready for a great night of music. The night kicked off with a spectacular performance by Thomas Wynn and the Believers. Siblings Thomas and Olivia filled the venue with their powerful vocals that captivated the crowd. A couple of my favorite tracks of their set were I Don’t Regret, Heartbreak Alley, and the title track of their latest album, Wade Waist Deep. Tonight at the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane, WA, Future Song Founding Member Myles Kennedy was on hand to perform for the Future Song Benefit Concert. Future Song Foundation is a new Spokane-based, non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the power of music and mentorship with Spokane area youth. Future Song’s mission is to connect the young people in our area with music teachers, musical instruments and opportunities to help them achieve their full potential. Myles performed a soul touching, heartwarming cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah that left us teary eyed and in awe. SLASH featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators delivered another epic performance in San Francisco last night at The Warfield Theater. We are coming to the tail end of the US dates for their World on Fire tour and with the performance last night, there is no slowing down for in site for these rockers. They came and gave 150% to a packed venue. The night kicked off with a fiercely energetic set by fuzz rockers, RavenEye from the UK. SLASH featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators has joined with the International Fund For Animal Welfare (IFAW) to raise awareness of the slaughter of elephants which is leading to their early extinction. They have released a new video for their song Beneath the Savage Sun which tells the tale from the elephant’s point of view.
