Cory Wells announces new album – new single “Natural Disaster” out now!

March 3, 2024

About three weeks ago singer-songwriter Cory Wells has announced his brand new album “Harboring The Hurt I’ve Caused”, which will be released 15th March 2024 via Pure Noise Records. With the announcement he also shared a new single “Hopeless” to celebrate the cause. Speaking about the album Cory said “I didn’t know if this album was going to come out of me. I have always written from trauma. It can be exhausting, debilitating, and sometimes unhealthy. This record is no different. It can be difficult to admit that the problems in your life may be no one’s fault but your own. I realize I’ve been blind, and once I can finally see, the fear that the end is certain, begins to settle in. I believe we all experience this as much as I wish that weren’t true. Alkaline Trio share new video for “Break” – new album out NOW!

January 27, 2024

The legendary Alkaline Trio shared another new video yesterday for the single “Break”, just in time for the release of their new record “Blood, Hair And Eyeballs“, which was finally released yesterday via Rise Records. In the course of last week the band around singer Matt Skiba presented their latest single “Bad Time” live at Jimmy Kimmel. “Blood, Hair And Eyeballs” was recorded and produced by Grammy-award-winning producer Cameron Webb at Studio 606 in Northridge, California. It presents Alkaline Trio, which reduced their sound to the skin and bone of their distinctive sonic spirit and brought this dark essence into so far unknown territory. “Blood, Hair And Eyeballs” is not only a dark glowing example of the characteristic mix of ironic-lyrical wit and the bittersweet melodic sensibility of the trio, but also the confluence of endings and beginnings – it’s the first album the band released via the new label Rise Records, but also the last, where long-time band member Derek Grant can be heard, who was part of the band since their classic record [Read More]

It is available to stream on all platforms. To accompany the new album release, DIABLO are also unleashing the video for standout track “Titan”. “Titan” was a song that took a while to iron out, until the right words came along. Afterwards it’s easy to say that my decision was right.” Diablo albums are known to be carefully handcrafted, and WATRAS makes no exception. The leading duo of the band, Rainer Nygård (vocals & guitar) and Marko Utriainen (guitar), have written an intense collection of songs that [Read More]

February 19, 2022

Put down your morning coffee, New-Delhi arena metallers Bloodywood are about to kick so hard they fire you into the weekend. To celebrate the release of their debut album “Rakshak” (out now!), the band is elated to present the music video for their heaviest song ever, “Dana Dan”. “Dana Dan” begins with the thudding of the South Indian “Nagada” drums before the razor-sharp rapping of Raoul Kerr comes in then gives way to the ferociousness of vocalist Jayant Bhadula. Here the entire band is firing on 11 to produce their most sonically thrilling track yet. There are going to be some crazy pits when the band plays this one live… Speaking about the new single, Bloodywood say: “‘Dana Dan’ is a graphic commentary on sexual assault and the need to eliminate it. It begins with the reflexive, almost homicidal rage we feel when we hear about these crimes, before moving on to a more level headed call to arms. It culminates in a gentle appeal for all of us to reflect on the role we [Read More]
