PREMIERE: Highway Terrier is Reviving Rock with new release Covid Blues

The Scarlet Opera tops our BottleRock Napa 2024 highlight list

Every year BottleRock brings us that one band that stands out from all the rest and arrives at the top of our highlight list. This year the honors are taken by an up and coming LA rock band, The Scarlet Opera. The band is led by lyricist and frontman Luka Bazulka and and equally talented band members; Colin Kenrick [keyboard], Daniel Zuker [bass], Justin Siegal [drums], and Chance Taylor [guitar].   If I had to simply describe them, it would be; imagine if Queen, Styx and My Chemical Romance had a musical orgy. NEW MUSIC – Off Lights share first single “Back To Life”

Off Lights just released their very first single and video “Back To Life”. Singer Julian Ticano Cuba processes a depressive episode with this song, which is visualized in an impressive music video. Off Lights is a new band from Berlin, Germany, which combines modern rock with catchy pop melodies. Band members Julian Ticona Cuba (vocals), Thorsten Schäfer (guitar), and Sascha Dürr (drums), found each other during the pandemic to write music that deals with everyday struggles, longings, and motivating lyrics of self-improvement.   Last year I told you the story of how I found the great heavy metal/rock band Killed the Fixtion. This indie rock band is definitely going to be garnering a lot of attention, especially with this being their first song. It just makes you really attentive and excited for what is next.
