The Devil Wears Prada release new single/video for “Cancer”

January 31, 2023

The Devil Wears Prada released another new single from their latest record “Color Decay”. The song comes with a video. Check out “Cancer”! “Lyrically, this song is about how many of the people I have looked up to and idolized have ended up committing suicide. It is something that has always made me question if I was on the right path in my own life. During the recording process, we learned of a another death, and I immediately assumed it was suicide. It ended up that this person had been secretly battling cancer for years, and for some reason, that made me feel relieved. The track addresses how messed up that thought process is and the guilt that comes along with it.” The Devil Wears Prada on facebook The Devil Wears Prada will be joining August Burns Red on their 20 year anniversary tour through the US. Crown The Empire drop new single “Immortalize”

December 5, 2022

Genre-bending, modern post-metalcore quartet, Crown The Empire, have shared their brand new single, “Immortalize.” The new track is catapulted by 2022 touring highlights including the summer’s The Fallout 10 Year Anniversary Tour, one of the band’s most successful headline tours of their career, and the fall leg of Knotfest Roadshow, supporting Slipknot and Ice Nine Kills. “Immortalize”, produced and mixed by Zach Jones (Fever 333, Poorstacy, Scene Queen, Nova Twins), features the band’s signature sound of massive angular riffs, anthemic melodies, and sweeping electronic elements. “‘Immortalize’ is about the fear of being forgotten once we pass on. It questions mortality, the existence of a higher being, and struggles to find meaning in the inevitable,” says vocalist Andy Leo. “Time is the only currency that can’t be replaced and there’s no way of ensuring we’ll leave a legacy worth remembering. All we can do is try and make our marks before we’re gone forever.” Crown the Empire have steadily established themselves over the past decade as a force of nature in the rock world. They have [Read More]

Vocalist Telle Smith on the new song: „‚Nocturnal Future‘ is meant to be unexpected, and from the moment it starts I think you feel a new energy in the music we haven’t captured before. I wanted to encapsulate all of the things our fans have loved into one song, intricate guitars, flashy yet tasteful drums, meaningful lyrics and melodies you’ll want to sing along too. Lyrically, it’s a call to each of us to try to do more in a world seemingly hell bent on destroying itself. By the end of the song we want you to have pictured yourself at our show losing your mind, hopefully we’ll see you soon!“ Over the past months, the band has been working on album number seven, which can be expected in 2023. Blu is set to head out on her North America headlining tour and to get you all revved up for it, she is sharing her new single, Elevator. “Using an elevator ride as a metaphor for escaping a draining relationship, she delivers a spacy, infectious kiss-off and revels in the instant boost to her outlook.” About the new track, Blu explains: “‘Elevator’ is an upbeat, tongue in cheek way of expressing how I feel when I’m stuck in the elevator (of life). It’s about moments when I’m down and need to be taken back up. The song is about turning a bad situation, like being caught in an elevator with someone you don’t like or just feeling down, and going through it and getting past it. It’s encouraging. The lyric ‘I could be a big shot too’ reminds me that I can take control of my own journey and path.”    Check out the new track [Read More]
