Nothing More w. Zoax, Munich, Backstage, Nov. 26th 2015. Concert Review by Alex Bock

November 29, 2015

After having to skip the first tour of Nothing More through Germany with Halestorm in summer, I finally made it to the Munich show of their current European tour. The last one promoting their recent self-titled record. It was actually their third time in Germany already, all this year, because they also attended this year’s Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. Opening act for this part of the European tour is Zoax, a band from the UK.  Zoax formed in 2013 and released their second EP in February 2015. Their music’s a bit heavier than Nothing More, but nevertheless both bands fit perfectly together. The five piece from London delivered a fun and groovy set. Their singer Adam handles the crowd pretty well, leaving the stage to mingle with the crowd during one song, climbing the stairs to a kind of balcony in the venue to play some tunes on an acoustic guitar. He really knows how to involve the audience into the show. It was more like a meeting with friends, than [Read More]

Nothing More bring awareness to mental illness with their compelling new video, Jenny

April 7, 2015

Sadly, mental illness has traditionally held such a deep stigma and it is time we dissolve it and tear down the walls around it. We need to communicate and discuss it instead of turning a cheek to it or running the other way. Nothing More have created the campaign I Know Jenny which hopes to open the dialogue up around mental illness. The initiative invites people to vocalize about their own experience and to create a discussion around the suffering and bring support. They have just released a compelling and truly personal music video for their song Jenny in hopes of raising awareness. It is amazing. Check it out here:   It is time to put a voice or a face to those who suffer and not allow people to live in shame or fear because they suffer from mental illness or depression. There was a time after my father passed away in 2011 where I was an emotional mess and truly felt like my world had collapsed as I lost my best friend; my [Read More]

Nothing More releases video for Mr. MTV and see them out on tour now!

September 21, 2014

Nothing More have released a new music video and this time it is for my FAVORITE song of theirs, Mr. MTV. This is one powerful track that has some very thought provoking lyrics. The first time I heard them play this was last year when we saw them perform at Aftershock 2013. They blew us away and this year, they did it again. Check out the new video here: This is one band that exceeds all your expectations with their live performances. From their three man bass solo and their full band percussion performance, everyone is left in awe of their over the top stage presence. They are currently out on tour with Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat and Hellyeah. Definitely a must see tour. Nothing More is our Monster Aftershock Featured Band of the Day

August 1, 2014

It has been awesome watching a band truly get the recognition they so well deserve. Nothing More has been one of those bands. We first discovered Nothing More a couple years back and from the first time I saw their live footage videos, I was amazed at how come I didn’t learn of these fantastic musicians sooner! Last year, Nothing More performed at Aftershock Festival, not once but twice! They were the only band to play both days, first during their regular scheduled slot on the side stages and then on the second day they were invited to play the big stage which they took over and dominated. Check out our coverage from last year’s show: Nothing More at Aftershock 2013. Well, a lot has happened in the last year. Last year the unsigned band were really getting noticed and now they are signed to Seven Eleven Music and have had great success with the release of their self titled full length album available on iTunes here. They have toured extensively and everywhere they [Read More]
