The Mission takes over Great American Music Hall in San Francisco

Thursday night in San Francisco catching a concert at Great American Music Hall and I felt like I stepped back in time. The Mission made a stop before their Cruel World festival performance to deliver an incredible set in San Francisco. The band (aka Mission U.K.) had the venue packed with long time fans as well a whole new group of young fans. It was a multigenerational experience where parents who grew up with the band are bonding with their children who love the band just as much. Truly creating a unique bond and shared appreciation across generations. Simon Hinkler (guitarist) with Alex Baum (drums) hit the stage after a crowd invigorating set from Nuovo Testamento.  They kicked the set off with Beyond the Pale and that is when I was instantly sent back in time as they sounded spot on. The Mission are returning to San Francisco on May 9th at Great American Music Hall

We are so excited to share that post-punk rockers The Mission are returning to San Francisco as they head out on a West Coast  Spring Tour. They will be playing at Great American Music Hall on May 9th and is sure to be a show you won’t want to miss. The show will be the last one right before they play at Pasadena’s annual Cruel World Festival which brings together an amazing lineup of bands; Duran Duran, Simple Minds, Adam Ant, Blondie, Interpol, etc. Vocalist/Guitarist Wayne Hussey comments,  “It’s a very eclectic bill… a lot of bands playing that I’d like to see,” he says. “It’s a shame we don’t generally get festival lineups like this in Europe. They tend to be more genre-specific. Keeping with their holiday tradition, Astari Nite release new track, Lovesick

Astari Nite have continued on with their tradition of releasing new music during the holidays and now you can check out their  new track, Lovesick. The track brings out your love for nostalgic new wave circa early The Cure or New Order. It is a great new song that features catchy modern synths, infectious energy and a comforting vibe. Check it out! The single was produced by Rees Bridges who has worked with Dirty Vegas, Pete Doherty and Tears for Fears. The mastering was done by Emily Lazar whose stellar work trajectory includes David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters and Sonic Youth to name a few. “Lovesick is about rejoicing in the memory of those who have passed on in our lives, whether it is someone we know and or admire. The Karma Killers deliver a fierce punk infused rock set in San Francisco

  One of our highlights of last year’s Vans Warped Tour was The Karma Killers. They were so awesome and truly dominated with their punk tinged rock and roll. They came to San Francisco this past weekend as they were closing out their tour with Arkells and the Dreamers. They played at the Social Hall in San Francisco which is underneath the Regency Ballroom. The band kicked off the night with their high energy punk infused rock set. You couldn’t help but to get on your feet and move to their rockin songs. They have such a charismatic stage presence that invites the crowd to raise up the energy and let go! The Karma Killers deliver a dose of punk infused rock with their new video for Domino

One of our highlights of this year’s Vans Warped Tour was The Karma Killers. These guys were so awesome and truly dominated with their punk tinged rock and roll. They have just released a new music video for their track, Domino. Check it out here: The fun youthful video was directed by Ernie Gilbert and truly highlights the charismatic energy of the band. Vans Warped Tour has an amazingly diverse lineup this year and there is definitely something for everyone at the festival.  The only problem might be that so many bands are playing at the same time and you wish you could clone yourself so you don’t miss all the great sets.  One of our highlights of Vans Warped Tour is the kick ass band, The Karma Killers. Hailing from New Jersey is this punk infused rock/pop band that will soon become one of your favorites.
