The band has officially landed their first-ever entry on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, with their latest single “Searchlight” debuting at No. 54 on this week’s chart. According to Billboard, the song earned 980,000 audience impressions during the June 12-18 tracking week, marking a significant crossover moment for a band that has spent nearly 25 years dominating the rock charts. Shinedown and Godsmack are both going to be releasing new albums this year. New albums definitely mean new tour dates! So get ready as Shinedown and Godsmack have announced dates for their co-headlining summer tour dates. Shinedown brings a fierce rock set to Santa Rosa

The Wells Fargo Event Center last Saturday night was definitely ROCKIN! Shinedown made a stop on their tour here in Santa Rosa and blew the roof off the Wells Fargo center. It was a full fledged rock show which doesn’t happen that often here in Santa Rosa, especially of the Shinedown caliber. The Virginmarys opened the night with their infectious punk edged rock set. It was great to see how this band that we fell in love with nearly a decade ago brought back “the feels” once again when they performed. Today our Aftershock Spotlight Band is longtime favorites of mine, Shinedown. They blew us away when they performed at 2013 Aftershock Festival and with a new album on the horizon, prepare yourself to be blown away once again! Their new album, Threat To Survival promises to deliver another full dose of hard rock. They recently released their first single, Cut The Chord and it is filled with high voltage explosive energy.
