Hopeless Records announces “Songs That Saved My Life Vol. 2”, a brand centered around music that has played a pivotal role in the lives of artists and fans and that benefits mental health and suicide prevention charities. The compilation follows 2018’s Vol. 1 and will be released on November 8 through Hopeless Records. The album includes covers from bands like With Confidence, Silverstein, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Mayday Parade and more. Seeking Valor release music video for the touching song, So Far Gone

Seeking Valor from Pennsylvania have released a beautiful touching video for their song, So Far Gone. The song was featured on Artist Direct on September 30th to wrap up Suicide Awareness month. The video is a touching commentary on the space left when a loved one takes his or her own life, and how friends and family must work together to move forward. Michael Sweet which  we all know from his STRYPER fame as the singer/songwriter/guitarist and producer has released an amazingly heartfelt new single. Michael is set to release his solo album, ” I Am Not Your Suicide” on May 6th through Big 3 Records. His first single off of his upcoming album is the title track and is a message for hope. Michael teamed up with ChildHelp when he learned of the staggering statistics that almost half of all children who have been abused consider suicide. Amanda Todd did not deserve to die… Bully NO MORE!

Tonight I have something very different and difficult to write about. The story of a young 15 year old who spent years being bullied and decided to end her life yesterday October 10, 2012. Amanda Todd. Someone who I will never forget. Amanda was a beautiful vibrant 15 year old on the outside but on the inside had endured years of cyber bullying after according to her own words, making a couple bad decisions in her life.  Amanda Todd posted a video to Youtube just a little over a month ago in early September where she begins to use hand written notes to describe her story of how things changed for her.
