Sunflower Dead announce new tour dates for Spring/Summer

Sunflower Dead are going to have quite a busy year as they continue to announce tour dates in support of their recent album, It’s Time To Get Weird.  They released the album last October through their own label, Bloody Bat Records. The album was produced by Dave Fortman (Evanescence, Godsmack, Slipknot) and Mikey Doling (Gemini Syndrome) and consists of 12 new tracks. The title track features KORN’s Jonathan Davis on vocals. The infectious rockers will be teaming up with Avatar, Hellyeah and In This Moment respectively on a trek that will take them across the US. This will provide you with many chances at catching their kick ass live show. We first came across Sunflower Dead when they opened up for (hed) P.E. and SOiL  on the Born To Ride 2 Tour in SF at the DNA Lounge. Interview with Michael of Sunflower Dead as they gear up for their new album release

We are very excited for the upcoming release It’s Time To Get Weird from the infectious rockers, Sunflower Dead. They are set to release their sophomore album on October 30th through their own label, Bloody Bat Records. The album was produced by Dave Fortman (Evanescence, Godsmack, Slipknot) and Mikey Doling (Gemini Syndrome) and consists of 12 new tracks. The title track features KORN’s Jonathan Davis on vocals. We first came across Sunflower Dead when they opened up for (hed) P.E. and SOiL  on the Born To Ride 2 Tour in SF at the DNA Lounge. Sunflower Dead at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco

Last week we covered the amazing Born To Ride 2 Tour at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco with (hed) P.E. and SOiL and it was quite a night. Opening up for them was the great new theatrical Metal/Rock band Sunflower Dead. Wow, what a show these guys put on. Sunflower Dead are based out of Long Beach and this was the first time I heard of them. I was glad we made it to the show early enough to catch them because their set was one not to be missed!
