The Devil Wears Prada announce European tour dates in fall supporting Wage War

March 22, 2022

Currently in the midst of a US Tour, The Devil Wears Prada are delighted to announce a series of European dates in Fall 2022. The band will be supporting Wage War. About the tour, frontman Mike Hranica says: Getting to play outside the US is one of the absolute best parts of being in TDWP. I truly love visiting Europe and we’re all excited to debut new tunes since our last visit. Having to cancel prior European plans due to the pandemic was heartbreaking. We’ll have even more to share by the time of our return with Wage War”. The Devil Wears Prada share video for new song “Sacrifice”

September 30, 2021

Mike Hranica [vocals], Jeremy DePoyster [vocals, guitar], Mason Nagy [bass], Kyle Sipress [guitar], Jonathan Gering [keys, synthesizers], and Giuseppe Capolupo [drums] — have shared the video for the brand new, self-produced song “Sacrifice”. ‘Sacrifice’ is a song of defeat: its character is exhausted, relinquishing will in an abusive relationship. There is nothing left to fight for”, the band shares. “Sacrifice” is an excellent example of TDWP’s continued sonic evolution, mixing an almost restrained melodic nuance with full on brutality. Earlier this year, The Devil Wears Prada released the much-anticipated “ZII” EP via Solid State Records. It was a discordant, dissonant exercise in excellence. Get the “ZII” EP HERE. The original “Zombie” EP dropped all the way back in August 2010 and remains an intense fan favorite. While not a chronological release in the TDWP catalog, “ZII” is the next chapter. TDWP effectively summed things up, saying: “Before, there were five songs about how to fend off the apocalypse. Now, there are five songs of hopelessness against the hoard”. The Devil Wears Prada are currently out [Read More]

The Devil Wears Prada share “Forlorn” video

May 25, 2021

The Devil Wears Prada have released the much-anticipated “ZII” EP via Solid State Records a few days ago. It’s a discordant, dissonant exercise in excellence. Get the “ZII” EP here. The band has now shared the video for “Forlorn”. Hopelessness is a primary theme to ‘ZII’ and ‘Forlorn’ really drives that home”, says Hranica. “While fictitious zombie songs aren’t intended to particularly tug at one’s heart string,’Forlorn’ goes all in at the sense of loss within the zombie apocalypse”. The original “Zombie” EP dropped all the way back in August 2010 and remains an intense fan favorite. While not a chronological release in the TDWP catalog, “ZII” is the next chapter. Concert review: Of Mice And Men, Chelsea Grin, Motionless In White and The Devil Wears Prada. By Alex Bock

June 26, 2017

Wörgl, Komma, June 20st, 2017 It’s summer and it’s festival season. Hundreds of bands are swarming the country and contrary to some years it’s also the perfect weather. During all those big weekend filling events a tour announcement came a few months ago that was kinda surprising, because for one it was only a really small tour (three dates), they only hit smaller venues and it was an awesome combination – Of Mice And Men, Chelsea Grin, Motionless In White and The Devil Wears Prada. Since there was no German date for this line-up I decided to visit my friends in the neighborhood and drove to Wörgl, a small town in Austria, not too far away from the German/Austrian border. First time I’ve been to this venue and I really liked it. It’s a two-story building with entrance, bar and merch on the first floor and the big room with the stage on the second floor. Perfect division. If you want to chill even in-between shows, you can grab a drink downstairs and have a [Read More]
