Ashes To Ashes Tour comes to an end in Sacramento with an epic set by Chelsea Grin

March 31, 2015

This past weekend the Chelsea Grin “Ashes To Ashes Tour” came to an end in Sacramento at the Ace of Spades. It was quite a night and the bands absolutely KICKED ASS from start to finish.  The fans came out early as the line soon wrapped around the block. We arrived just in time to catch one of our favorite new bands, The Family Ruin hit the stage. You can check out our full features  on all the bands here:The Family Ruin at Ace of Spades,  Sworn In and Carnifex at Ace of Spades. The crowd’s energy intensified as the night grew and it was soon to peak as Chelsea Grin took to the stage. Chelsea Grin finished off the night with an unbelievable set. These guys just give 150% from the moment they step on stage until they exit. They have the crowd under their spell and everyone was talking about how it was one of their best concerts ever. The stage show featured excellent lighting for the night and the sound was spot on. The Family Ruin prove they are a set not to miss!

March 30, 2015

We were excited to see The Family Ruin on the Ashes To Ashes Tour. We have been featuring this amazing rock band from the UK since they were first announced on KBB Records last year. We brought you our review of their kick ass album, Dearly Departed which was released last September and once again we were excited to catch them live! One thing is for sure, they delivered another amazing kick ass set. This time they were at the Ace of Spades for their first time in Sacramento. The crowd loved them! I love it when a band that I really enjoy listening to can match the same intensity of their music as they do live on stage. This is one band that definitely has no problem conquering that battle. They blew us away with their contagious energy and had the crowd on their feet rockin out. Check out photos of their set by our Rockin Ryan:   From the moment they hit the stage and until they walked off to greet fans at their merch [Read More]

The Family Ruin album Dearly Departed releases tomorrow and catch them out on tour!

September 22, 2014

The UK bad ass band, The Family Ruin are just hours away from the release of their album, Dearly Departed on KBB Records.  The album officially releases in the US on 9/23 and 9/29 for Europe.  This is one album that we have been so excited for you to all hear. It is definitely one killer album filled with high energy tracks and a great display of musicianship by these five guys. The Family Ruin have really been garnering a lot of well deserved attention since singing with KBB Records, the new record label of Asking Alexandria’s Ben Bruce and co-manager Kyle Borman. The Family Ruin have a very fresh new sound complete with hard and heavy riffs blended with infectious harmonies, where they blend their metal and alternative influences with melodic hard rock. There is something for everyone in their sound. Think about a mix of Avenged Sevenfold with Escape the Fate. Dearly Departed is definitely a must have album. In case you missed it, check out our recent review of Dearly Departed here. We are very [Read More]
