Bishop Briggs brings powerful performance to The Warfield in San Francisco

October 12, 2023

It was a hot June day in 2016 where we first saw Bishop Briggs perform live. She was performing in the small DJ tent at Live 105’s BFD and was one of the main artists that we were there to cover.  She blew us away that first time and we knew she was heading to the top! Over the years, we witnessed her perform at BottleRock, Fox Theater and many more venues, including the legendary Fillmore in SF where we were able to interview her. You can watch that 2017 interview here. I remember telling her how her music was an instant mood elevator and it still rings true today. We caught Bishop Briggs perform last night with MisterWives on The Don’t Look Down Tour at The Warfield in San Francisco. It was as she visualized, creating the best amazing night. She hit the stage with Art of Survival and the crowd went wild.  Her charismatic energy sparked the stage and ignited us with true passion. She gives so much of herself, in each and [Read More]

October 12, 2023

Wednesday nights can be hard to get through as you anticipate the arrival of the weekend.  Last night was the perfect mid week pick-me-up as MisterWives brought their Don’t Look Down Tour to the Warfield in San Francisco. The night opened with a set by Natalie Jane and she wowed the crowed with her powerful vocals. Next up was the amazing Bishop Briggs who really brought the energy and spark. Finally MisterWives came out to an eruption of cheer and screams as they hit the stage and delivered 150% non-stop energy.  They came out to Out of Your Mind and then straight into Dagger. The crowd was loving every second of it as the excitement raced through the crowd.  The set was spectacular and the lighting was the perfect complement to the spot on sound of the band.  The set continued with full force all the way until the final song of Nosebleeds, the title track of their highly praised fourth studio album, that had everyone singing along. What a night! Check out photos [Read More]

The Wombats bring their high energy tour to San Francisco, September 29, 2018

October 1, 2018

This past weekend The Wombats made a stop in San Francisco for their 2018 tour. It was the third night of their headline North American Tour and the crowd at the Warfield were ready for an incredible night. The show started out with a solo performer by the name of Roman Lewis. He may be young in years but his voice is that of a soulful seasoned performer. He came on stage with just his guitar and rocked out at the Warfield with a venue full of people. After some time the absolute rock star that is Barns Courtney put on one of the most energetic shows I’ve seen. As he preformed his first track called “Fire” off his 2017 album The Attractions of Youth he dove into the crowd. It was amazing to see a performer be so connected and trusting with his supporters. Eventually The Wombats had a turn of luck after having their tour bus break down on the way to the Bay Area from their show in Southern California. The long [Read More]
