Interview with Danger Escape as they Rocked the Whisky A GoGo

October 9, 2015

Sunday night we trekked down to the legendary Whisky A GoGo for an incredible night of music. It was the second night of New Years Day’s The Other Side Tour and it was a sold out house!  We will be bringing you all our coverage of the night but first, we wanted to bring you our interview with Danger Escape which was one of the great opening bands for the night. Danger Escape are from Los Angeles and the four piece alternative rock band delivered a high energy set of their original music and a great cover of Bring Me The Horizon’s Drown.  They have recently released their EP Pollution which is available on CD Baby, their Bandcamp page, and iTunes here and other online outlets. All the songs are great and you will find yourself adding them to your daily playlist. Chemical Battle has been getting a lot of play here in the Music Junkie Press office! We had the opportunity to interview Danger Escape after their set and you can check it out here: Danger Escape [Read More]

State Line Empire returned to the Whisky A GoGo for an epic set

July 13, 2015

State Line Empire returned to the Whisky A GoGo this past Friday for an incredible set. They were opening for Adler and it was a packed house. Interesting enough, the first time I saw State Line Empire play was when they opened for Steven Adler’s previous band, Adler’s Appetite at the Red Devil Lounge a few years back. The venue was packed and the energy was overflowing as State Line Empire took to the stage. They completely rocked the house and sounded solid. Check out some photos from our Rockin Ryan of their set:   In case you missed them, we are pleased to announce that they will be returning to the Whisky on September 30th as they open for Marty Friedman. That is one show you are not going to want to miss! So make sure to get your tickets early.   Also check out a live footage video for Break Me Down when they performed in San Francisco at DNA Lounge: Visit their social media sites and stay up to date so you won’t miss [Read More]

Adler ROCKS The Whisky A GoGo

July 12, 2015

This past Friday was a night to remember.  We made the trek down to Hollywood to catch Adler perform at The Whisky A GoGo.  The night included great sets by many bands, especially one of our favorite bands, State Line Empire who fired up the crowd with full energy shortly before Adler took to the stage. We didn’t get the chance for our interview with Adler as time was tight and also there were so many family and friends who came out to see Adler perform.  The support was awesome and you could really feel the energy amongst everyone. We hope to bring you an interview with them soon so we can talk about their upcoming South America tour, new music and the return to the stage. The night was filled with many fans and of course many Guns n Roses fans. Don’t get me wrong, I love Guns n Roses and I love Steven’s history with it, but that to me is the past. While many were in anticipation of hearing Guns n Roses [Read More]
