VIDEO SPOTLIGHT: The Driver Era release debut music video for Preacher Man

Time to get crank up the music and get movin! The Driver Era, the new music project from brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch has just released their debut music video and it is AWESOME! The song is Preacher Man and the video, conceived by Ross and director Paul Capra, follows Ross around a seedy, dimly lit hotel room where he spends the night with a lover while trying to exorcise his demons. Ross comments about the video in an interview with Idolator,

“There’s a certain darkness to [Preacher Man]. There’s a sort of sensual factor in the lyrics as well. I felt it was necessary to reflect that in the music video.”

Check out the video here:

The Driver Era captures a nostalgic vibe with it’s carefree and fun loving pop style, yet carries a modern breath of fresh air, which is desperately needed in the music scene today. They are not trying to fit into a checkbox or genre category, they are just making great music. The song is infectious and will be on your favorite playlist.  You can’t help but applaud the great musicianship that these two display with their new music. They work so well together and their is a musical cohesion that is strong.  Ross comments about him and Rocky,

“A while ago I was reading a book that talked about how if you and a person are able to connect deeply enough, you almost form a third consciousness. I think Rocky and I have that on some level. I don’t think either of us has felt so creatively charged up in a long time, and it’s just a really cool feeling. The whole thing’s opened up our minds in this amazing way.”
